Has anyone flown the 9:00 pm mke to las flight recently that has been delayed. Im flying out in a week and everyday this flight is delayed 2 to 3 hrs. The incoming flight is from tampa with delays to. Before that i cant seem to determine where that flight comes in. I understand weather but this has gone on for two weeks straight for this flight. Not recently, but I have flown that flight in the past year.
We were not delayed at all.

Flight tracker isn't showing where the plane was coming in from before Tampa?
Go to the Flyer Talk forums...... I'll bet one of them will be able to tell you!

Try flightaware . com. They show it has only been canceled once in the past two weeks.

Late in the day flights are often delayed, as any delays in the 4 or 5 segments that plane has flown previously will have a cascade effect.

I've been recently-ish. It was fine and on time... Best of luck.
We did try doing the same thing out of Chicago last month and we were delayed 4 hours...

Flew it on Saturday, Feb 3 (the day before the Super Bowl). Started snowing in Milwaukee around 5:00 PM but the plane arrived from Tampa on time (and the Indianapolis to Tampa leg was on time, too) so we left on time with no issue.

I was able to link it back to indy one day and that flight was on time to tampa. For some reason tampa seems to be the delay and the weather was sunny that day. I guess we will have to see what happens next week.

It's just me, but you couldn't entice me with a free Frontier flight out of Milwaukee. SW all the time.
Round numbers in the last 8 years maybe 65 flights out of Milwaukee to LAS on SWA. Only 2 delays and many times the flight starts in Ft Lauderdale. If you don't count de-icing, then never a weather delay. One equipment delay, but we didn't leave the plane.

Have flown that one a couple times. It originated, when I flew it, in Las Vegas. It is(was) the return flight from Milwaukee. By the way, that direct, nonstop flight is being discontinued. Matter of fact, I just got off the phone with a Frontier foreign operator, who took forever to understand Ing-Grish. After 10 minutes of explaining, then 10 minutes of waiting, she finally told me that flight is GONE. So much for Frontier. Now, its a 2 to 3 plane connecting flight. Sad. Allegiant out of Appleton has sucked since they settled the strike, prices have gone way up.

The worst part of that #1 is the 14 hour layover in Denver to get the lowest price.

The worst part #2 is that Southwest "wins" again, and likely my $118 one-way prices go along with it.

I really prefer flying out of Milwaukee. (Madison is nice too.)
I hate flying out of O'Hare!
But, they have the most Direct, Non-Stop flights and better prices.

I’m flying out of ORD next week, just prefer the times offered and the non stop option vs MKE
