Friend's son graduated college. Let's take him to Vegas (June 22-26)

Hello, friends.

This trip will feature me, my friend from Chicago (retired journalist) and his 22-year-old son, who just graduated from college. His present (reward?) is a trip to Vegas with his father and me. It should be a good time. His dad hasn't been to Vegas in almost 25 years and the graduate himself has never been.

We're flying Southwest out of Midway tomorrow at 1140 a.m. local time, expected to touch down at 1:30 or so Vegas time. If you've read my trip reports before, you know I am not a flyer and I love to drive from Michigan, but this year I decided to get on the airplane. Hopefully it works out.

We are staying at Park MGM Saturday through Wednesday. Then they are heading back home and I am using free nights from the Wynn app until Sunday morning. Yahoo for a little time to myself!

I'm not sure what this trip report will entail, but I can guarantee you it will be filled with photos. I like to utilize the Tapatalk app so I plan to fill this with corresponding photos from our trip. Hope you enjoy!

 

MyVegas that we will use:

Mirage 2-1 dinner buffet on Saturday (free drinks!)
Wolfgang Puck 2-1 at MGM
NYNY Times Square $50 (hopefully beer buckets at Happy Hour)
Bellagio 2-1 lunch buffet
Aria two lunch buffets
Bellagio 2-1 dinner buffet

MyVegas that I will use:

Mandalay Bay lunch
Lupo WP 2-1 (take the extra entree back to room)
Excalibur brunch buffet for Saturday
MGM dinner buffet Saturday night
Cucina WP 2-1 (take the extra entree back to room)

This is fair. Also, I have too much vacation time and only a few months to get it in, so I like to take as much as once as I can.

Hope the flight goes smooth! Looks like there is a reasonable amount of rain. And flightview says you departed from gate A4B. That gate blows! Get the bad luck out of the way early!
