You can always get the same dogs at the deli! That's the first thing I do after checking in - get a dog and take it to the bar.

Suncoast gives 6x multiplers to play video poker on every Sunday of April! I need help from VP experts. According to vpfree2 website, Suncoast does not have full pay 9/6 Jacks or Better. Is it correct? How about 8/5 Bonus Poker? Has anyone had gambling luck / winnings from Suncoast? Please advise and share your experiences. Thanks.

Downtown Boyd properties are more like gambling halls than resorts. I like the Boyd properties Downtown despite the lack of resort amenities.

Suncoast on the other hand is a beautiful resort Hotel Casino. The rooms are Strip like in size and amenities and the services and amenities are those of a true resort.

Yes, unfortunately Suncoast has sliced their VP offerings in the last couple of years. I was excited to play 9/6 Boner Deluxe (99.64%) there in Feb. 2014 at the bar. They were downgraded almost a week later.

RIP you big tease of a game. See you at South Point...lol

However, they have given somewhat better promos lately with the "poorer" games. Namely bonuses with quad 5s-9s (limit one each), which is even better than 6X points for awhile. But unfortunately, looks like 6X points is the best thing publicly listed this month. 8/5 Bonus (99.17%) should be available at the bar. There are a limited amount of 9/7 Triple Double Bonus (99.58%; very high variance and fairly difficult strategy) available according to VPFree2.

I would also pay attention to progressives as well. In Feb. 2015, I saw a 98.8% quarter Bonus Deuces game balloon to near 101% thanks to a $2050 royal flush. I was gonna play it after a live poker session, but it got hit before I quit the poker game. The dozen people playing it left too...lol

Yeah, SunCoast is the worst among Boyd casinos in terms of VP paytables.
Hard to understand as other off-Strip properties (Boyd and Stations) all have good VPs.

Unless things have changed in the last 4 months, I'm quite happy to play 9/6 DDB on the bartops at Suncoast.
Nothing can be worse than Fremont bartops.

DDB is only 98.98%. SunCoast don't have any thing like 9/6 JoB(99.54%) or 99.73% NSUD.
Fremont's bartops not good, but on the floor they have many games better than 99.54% from 25c to $5.

I am well aware of the DDB 9/6 bartop paytable and can't think of any place I can do better. Cal and 4Q have the same DDB 9/6 bartops, but better, I don't know of any. Hell, I play 9/5 DDB (97.87%) at MSS because I like the atmosphere and the employees.

Fremont has nothing for me at their bartops. The one good thing about Fremont is the Second Street Grill.
