Since I will be staying downtown during the NYE celebration, I was wondering if anybody has received offers of free or discounted tickets to the festival (for lack of a better term) or whether it would make sense to ask “my” host at Four Queens about securing tickets; based on what I’ve seen from some quick Googling, the tickets officially go on sale November 14, but who knows how many nanoseconds it will take for resellers to cause a sell-out

I was comped at the D in 2014/2015. The didn't sell out and my comp included tickets to the festivities. Don't know if that information helps, but all you're host can say is "Sorry, but no".

Are you on the Four Queens NYE offer?

    It generally comes with wristbands.

If not, I generally have one extra that could be discounted. If you need 2, I can check with a friend who would likely be in the same position.

PM me if you are in need.

Just confirmed on the print invitation I received for the Four Queens NYE offer that it comes with TWO wristbands for America's Party on Fremont Street.

I predict that because you have a NYE reservation booked through FQ, you will receive 2 wristbands for the festivities.

If only one could trade in the wristbands for a different comp...

Jen sent me an email confirming just that  Just wasn’t sure since it is a paid stay (“low casino rate” at least... I can probably get most/all of it back-ended or paid off via comps balance so all good :)).

Guessing that you booked your regular offer for the earlier nights of your stay (with the free play and dining credits) and casino rate for the rest since you couldn't book both offers together.

Jen said that I would like not receive any marketing offers that were effective until past NYE; I mean, I would have liked if they extended an offer earlier, (and I did ask) but oh well :)
