Has anyone had success requesting a week day late check out request? I want to stay in the room until about 230 pm. (I'm not comfortable will the bell staff holding our luggage).

Our last stay I just booked two comp nights at a different downtown hotel and checked out a day early. Not sure if that will affect future offers so not really trying to repeat that again.

why uncomfortable with bell desk? Never had a problem. Gamble enough see host. See desk and ask, if not busy should not be a problem.

Just my issue. I've used them in the past but lately been traveling with 3 smaller carry on items, two which contain valuable (to me) items.

Thanks for your reply and suggestions.

Just call them and ask if they allow a later check out. Feel them out and see how they handle it. It seems most casinos are used to doing this. I don't think it will be a big deal. Good Luck!

they will probably do it reluctantly. I was staying at the Fremont in October when I fell ill. I had to call them from the emergency room to tell them that I would not be back in time to check out. when I spoke to the desk clerk on the phone, she was civil about it. I made it back to the hotel around 3 p.m. they had told me that my room would be locked and I would need to stop at the front desk so they could activate my key again. I told them that I only needed 30 minutes to shower and grab my things. 5 minutes after getting to the room, they were calling me to see if I was done yet. it was a Tuesday afternoon, the place was not busy. hell, I wouldn't have asked if I was not in ER! I don't think you will have a problem, you just have to let the control freaks feel large and in charge.
