Have you taken one. I see Nomad free walking tours. Just tip at the end of the walk if you feeeeeeeeeel like it.
How did you like it? I see they start at the Mirage and end by the MGM in about two hours.
I have been thinking I would like to start one of my own walking tours.... once I move there and get settled.

We take a 'self guided walking tour' every time we go to Vegas. I don't see the value added component of an attendant.

"The 2 hour tour will teach you the history of Las Vegas, how the mafia influenced the city, information about some of Las Vegas’ biggest attractions and buildings, and provide you with insider tips to enjoying your time in Las Vegas. "

...which might underscore why it's 'tip if you feel like it' rather than run the risk of bodily harm if you actually charged for this. :nono:

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking two hours is a long time to follow someone around especially if you are on a short trip. I was thinking about talking less about what built old Vegas and more about things to see and do during an hour walk. It would be geared more for first or second time visitors. I have taken the open top bus tour a few times and enjoyed that. I think people would enjoy the education and I know I have more investigation to do. Thanks again.

That's probably the target demographic. Given that it's free, that might have more appeal than actually having to pay up for something of - let's be honest - dubious value. The Mrs. and I have done the walking tours in a few cities, though none like Vegas. Face it, tromping around historic Savannah can't be compared to Las Vegas Boulevard. I think a two-hour window is sufficient. By that time, people are chompin' at the bits to dive into one of the casinos.
