    from the article:
the bus rolled on Tuesday, stopping to pick up a showgirl and former Mayor Oscar Goodman, signature gin martini in hand

All right! A Free roving BYOB lounge! Does anyone make portable stripper poles?

    Yes they do....

It does entice one to develop a downtown loop Bar Crawl.

I love it! I hope it lasts beyond the trial period.
I will use it to go to the downtown outlet mall. I have not been there in a few years, now I will have no excuse.
don't forget to tip the driver!

And provides an enterprising individual to sell cans of beer out of a 30 pak at a very attractive price.

Here comes my cynical side. Soon to be filled with the Fremont Street undesirables.

Quite amazing -- but this is fairly small territory! I wish it went later til we actually NEEDED it (unable to stand @ 3am)

BTW: Bungadin, Love the picture/quote -- he died too young and is always good for a ridiculous laugh on youtube. Fairly hard to make something that is still offensive and cringe-worthy 20 years later!

As a tourist I wish they would put the addresses of the stops. I want to see if some of the places I want to go in the Arts District are within walking distance and safe to walk...

The Arts District stop is at the intersection of Boulder Ave and Art Way. You can enter that intersection into google maps to see where it is in relation to the arts district places you want to visit.

$550,000 to run a free service for one year. From reading the short article it sounds like the city is funding this. I can see where Pawn Plaza and Arts District will see some new revenue but not sure of the other areas. This makes me ask where the future funding will come from.

I'm sure plenty of people will use it to get to the outlet mall but they go their already. We stay at MSS and I'm not sure this would be a better option than buying the 24 hour bus pass. It only holds 19 people. It would suck to wait to get on and find it full. I also guess the aisles are not as wide as the bus (just thinking about my wife who sometimes takes an empty suitcase to the outlet mall to put her purchases in). The hours are bit off from her shopping schedule too, she usually starts early.

Thanks for that. I don't think I laughed as hard since his bit of Jesus up on the cross asking the mourners for a hammer and a ladder.
