Just returned from a nice weekend stay at the Four Winds in Michigan. I played a lot of Pai gow poker. And a couple of situations arose that I want to throw out for thought.
Situation1. Player asks for table advise. Said they have a full house and AK to put up on top. I said to put the pair up top and keep the 3 oak in back. The dealer agreed. The dealer had a straight on the bottom and the player pushes. I felt bad that the pair was 2's having known that I would have told them to keep the full house together and play the AK.
Situation 2.The dealer has KQ on top and AA on the bottom with the Joker being 1 of the aces. Using the joker the dealer also has a straight A,joker,3,4,5. But the dealer did not realize this. I said something about it the dealer overheard me and corrected the hand to reflect the straight, causing me to lose the hand. The other players were not affected by the play.
.
My question is? Do I say something in both cases or keep my mouth shut.
