I was there over the weekend and the only sign of work I saw was an empty area on the floor in front of Chicago Brewing. Things may have changed over the last few days, but it was a nonevent while I was there.

their website says 3rd phase of ROOM remodel. I hope they are remodeling the remodeled rooms. at least the bathrooms with that horrible countertop.

Two nights ago, they passed out hospital masks and ear plugs to players as they hacked up the floor at 2am

And, this is the Four Queens, there is no way they are remodeling the rooms they just remodeled last year. I am told this new phase will update the suites in the South tower, for one.

They have half the casino floor torn up, just basically a bare floor, not a big issue as I saw few players there anyway, there's something about the 4 Queens I like less and less each time. Let me add it's just half the table game area, not the rest with machines, etc.

I was there yesterday. Looks like most of the major stuff is done. Carpet is back down on the floor and electricians were getting the wiring ready.

There will be one long row of table games instead of the two shorter rows they had before. I heard that they will be reinstalling the VP/slots that were temporarily removed on Monday.

Saw that some of the VP machines were back Monday afternoon. Did not have a chance to see which ones they were, but I will in the next few days.

The floor work was done as of yesterday evening. Machines were back in place but not all activated. Can't find the old progressive DB machines. Also appears they've messed with the games at the bar. A lot of weirdness on the 4OAK. For instance, I thought I was playing 8/5 BP until I hit four 3s and realized the payout for all quads was 150. Never seen that version of BP before! The DDB progressive looked like 9/6 until I noticed the 4OAK 5 through Kings only paid 160.

We were there last week. Floor construction seemed to be completed. They did have the electronic craps near one of their entrances to Fremont street.

The $.25 10/7 DB progressive is NOT back on the floor as of yet. There are however 4 $.25 machines that have 10/7 DB. They are by the sports book. Don't know if they are $8 or $16 coin-in per point.

When I asked about the $.25 progressives, I was told that they were still working on adding/removing/changing machines. Didn't get a specific answer on the $.25 10/7's.

Thanks a lot for the updates on the 10/7 inventory Don. I play a lot of it when in Vegas (MSS and 4Q mostly) and the loss of that progressive bank would be a big disappointment.

Looks like they pared down the machine inventory to make larger aisles. In particular, the rows of VP between the cage and the table games used to be around 7-8 machines wide. Now, looks to be down to 4 across! Big difference!
