4 Queens Four Queens App Account Closure

    Well, it happened today. I got an email saying the following...

    Dear Customer,

    Please note that your app account has been reset and locked due to evidence of repeated exploitation of malfunctions and/or fraudulent activity.

    You are no longer able to play with this account. If you have any questions or believe this to be in error, please contact [email protected].

    I would guess it's from getting a few bonus taps on the videos, but it was only done occasionally (I didn't even know it was a glitch). The interesting thing is that it was just my four queens account that was shutdown, not any of the other 3 (girlfriends binions/4q accounts that all did the same). Has anyone had this happen before? Was your Binions account affected at all? The other interesting part is that all 3 other accounts have had redemptions happen, but I had never redeemed anything with the four queens app.

    Has anyone had success in being reinstated? Or should I just make another account as there were no redemptions ever used?

    Maybe instead of punishing you, they should fix the app. :grrr:

    It's a weird feeling, like something was taken of extreme value. Haha I can't complain though. I just checked my girlfriends account and we have redeemed 20 free specialty drinks, $100 at four queens, and $100 at chicago brewing in our time. Just the random email threw me off. Apparently it happened to someone on facebook as well, they posted in the four queens group.

    Yeah, happen to me yesterday also. I feel like we’re being punished for their incompetence.

    All good things come to an end. Just wish that I got to burn through more redemptions. 20k crowns just went down the tube and I'm assuming the 30k hats I am sitting on will as well since there are reports of the same thing happening with the Binions app. I do wonder if you redeemed some things and then took a screenshot of the QR code if it would work in the future. I do know they can process it off a screenshot as I did it with my girlfriend's iPad when we were at the four queens rather than bringing the iPad downstairs.

    Doubtful, but I can dream right?

    I have not gotten an email but I cant login to my Binions account through Facebook at all. Anyone having that issue or has had it before? Thanks for any insight!

    I'm not sure I would say people are being punished for the casino's incompetence or for spending time on the free app. If anything it's being punished for taking advantage of a glitch. You wouldn't be rewarded in a casino for exploiting a glitch and being discovered so I'm not sure why folks would feel this would be anything different. After all, you can earn a lot of comp items spending nothing but some time. I agree they should fix it but I'm not surprised at the outcome.

    Oh, I'm not implying it's the casino's incompetence. I meant Free Slot Games of Las Vegas, the app developer. They pulled this same crap in May 2018 with the FB friends bonus chips malfunction. If there is a glitch, they're the ones who created the glitch. How about an adjustment? To lock players accounts is rather heavy handed and some players actually spend $ in addition to time.

    I do agree with a good part of what you say. It should be fixed and I imagine they don't want to go through the headache of backdating things for what the true value should be. Also if someone redeems those rewards prior to this it may be too late for that. It is heavy handed but I'm sure the casinos approve of how this is done too. I can see both sides of it, I guess they just take the approach of if you're going to take advantage of it we'll exclude you entirely.

    Spending money on it to lose it all does suck as I think I've spent five or ten bucks on it. But I figure we're all taking a risk that these will be available when we choose to redeem them, right? They could cancel the program at any time and you're SOL. Look at the adjustments for the Wynn slot app. Now you have to pay money to get freebies. I'm glad I redeemed a free night last year before the VIP stuff kicked in. I'll probably use up what I have in December just to clear out all the points in case they get rid of the app. It's bound to happen eventually.

    Yeah, the silver lining is I don't have to waste any more time watching those moronic Tik-Tok ads to collect the hourly bonuses.

    I'm pretty much feeling the same. I'm disappointed, but understand the decision. I am not emailing them because my other 3 accounts seem untouched right now. If they close those, then I'll probably ask for leniency and just a major reduction in hats. I got plenty of value already out of it, so no reason to pout.

    No email from them stating anything bad, but this afternoon we both couldn’t get into the app. It said our Facebook data was wrong. Waited a while and it restarted so we could get the bonuses etc. It was a very odd day. I’m expecting that they did an update that went wrong and we will have to pay more for rewards. I’m just a cynical doom monger.

    Yeah, well I’ve had other family members accounts get closed. It just took a day or two longer. All told we lost about $900 worth of rewards.

    Yep, there's about 60k hats that I stand to lose between the accounts. The binions app is the one I care about. We drink 10 of those specialty drinks (they'll make a regular drink instead) a day and stumble around Fremont for a day every time we go out.

    They knew about the issue at the time it happened. I can't figure out why they didn't just pull the videos down for a short period of time & update the app. They let it go on for a considerable period of time. Either that or slide in a 'max' allowed video credit per day if they were having issues fixing the awarding of add'l videos. Of course....they were likely getting paid for each of those by the video promotion company anyway lol !!! Makes me wonder if they collected from what were supposed numerous clicks, but then they shut down the people who actually did the clicking.

    I have seen a few more posts about this recently on FB. I am a bit surprised they didn't just assess a penalty of a certain number of hats - if they are recalculating the customers accounts, they likely have an easy total of how many they earned fraudulently.
