Yeah- there will be a whole lotta urinated off people if that is the case- many of whom will ask for their money back. Would be a very bad scene for TFC!

Including me! I just signed up 3 days ago and took that into consideration for paying the membership fees.

Absolutely! Most of us make it to Vegas maybe two or three times a year, to make the card worthwhile they can't be reducing the benefits!

Good idea!! The person that said that on the forum may have just asked if they could get celebration dinner with founder's card and not mention that they were diamond. Most of the Total Reward employees have no idea what a founder's card is.

Well, the answer was pretty nebulous. " You get all the perks of a Diamond member. But, restrictions apply." There is this caveat on the TR Overview page for the celebratory dinner. But, I think that is for other reasons- like specific restaurants. So, it seems we should be okay and that the person denying the dinner had the wrong info. But, theoretically the "restrictions apply" caveat could be used to deny this perk. I would like to hear from others that are FC Diamond members and how they did using this perk. I won't be in Vegas until November, hopefully by then it will be sorted out!

I'll be in Vegas next weekend and plan to inquire about the celebratory dinner and show tickets. Most of the feedback on the FC site would indicate these benefits are still being granted to Diamond card holders through FC, so it may just be certain employees at TR who are wary to extend them. I will report back what I am told.

Thanks! Hopefully it is just a case of a misinformed employee!

Yeah, I got some resistance at Paris two weeks ago when I inquired about available show tickets. But I didn't press the issue at that time. I might inquire at multiple casinos just to see if the responses vary. Stay tuned.

Just double-checked at the FC site. Apparently the dinner and show vouchers ARE still being handed out! So, "YAY!"

I applied and was granted a Founders Card in May. I was upgraded to Diamond status by CET about a week later. I stayed at Bally's for 4 nights the middle of July. The first thing I did before checking in was to go to the Total Rewards desk and receive my new Diamond card. The lady at the desk couldn't have been nicer and explained all of the new perks that came with my new status; which included my $100 dining credit and 2 free show tickets every month. I checked in at the Diamond check-in room and was offered a free beer or glass of champagne while I was checking in. Used the Diamond entrance to the Paris buffet for breakfast the next morning. Visited the Diamond lounges at the Rio, Flamingo and Pho without any problems. Showed my diamond card and ID at Bally's show ticket desk and picked up a ticket to see Jubilee! that evening; and they gave me a great seat...no hassles. Gave my card at the BJ table at Bally's and the pit boss came over to shake my hand and greet me. Showed my card to the guy at the Taxi line at Bally's and I jumped to first in line for a cab to the airport. At no time during my stay did I have a problem or limitation with my Diamond status. I booked 9 nights at the Flamingo for next month's trip...no resort fee charges. I plan on hitting the Diamond lounges every day, use the diamond buffet line, see a free show during my stay. I also plan on dining at BLT steak at Bally's using that as my celebration dinner. At no point during my last trip two weeks ago was I treated any different from any other Diamond card holder.

Thanks for the update! Glad to see that the problem mentioned was an aberration! Looking forward to using my newly minuted status in AC next week and then in Vegas in Nov and March of 2016! And, hopefully, this will continue to be a perk after that- apparently FC and CET have a one year deal that is usually extended.

Yes - take advantage of it.
BTW - At Atlantic City Diamond Lounges - I guess the Diamond Card would get you in but since you don't have 25K tier points - I guess they would still take the 1000 rc's per person off. They are worth it though because it is just like a buffet.
Is there a limit of how many times you can go per day or do they charge you each time you enter? (at AC)

The charge is per entry. I'm not sure if you are limited to one entry/day in AC. Caesars Windsor limits Diamond players to one entry per day.

Wait, I don't know anything about the east coast... you have to use rc's to gain entry to Diamond Lounges in AC?? What happens if you don't have any? No entry??

Yes from what I understand unless you have 25000 tc's - you have to use comp dollars - RC's -you cannot use cash. Makes sense - because they want you to play and earn points.

I've had two visits since turning Diamond through FC with the latest trip last week at Caesars. We've used the monthly show tickets btoh trips and visited Diamond Lounges with no issue. While getting the show ticket voucher at Caesars TR desk I was reminded that I hadn't used my $100 dinner yet. We're going back in 2 weeks and don't anticipate any issues.
