    Hi all,

Dh and I just started playing a few weeks ago. For various reasons we have no desire to "share with friends " etc. or other "public" ways of gathering points. We started playing , we enjoyed it, as a result I purchased points for my acct., while dh has not yet. Dh has the 3 in 30 rule while I appear to be allowed 10.
Here is where Imho I think that MGM has missed the boat however(compared to the earlier program with wager works). Dh and I have not been back to Vegas for about 5 yrs playing at other casinos instead. While in Vegas in the past we had mostly stayed with Bellagio, or MGM and mostly full RFB in suites. We gen'l play high limit slots for hours.
We're planning a trip back within the next yr. I know that we wont get full comps upfront unless we go through the various hosts to refer and I dont wish to be bothered with that (although our Bellagio host has been very good with comps our personalities have clashed a great deal). Right now I expect to stay at Wynn's because they've actively recruited us for a stay. IF we were able to use points without the restrictions for suites ie no weekends, or blackouts even at a much higher level we might be tempted to go back to Bellagio. Even though we know full well that we're likely going to be comped on the back end there is the psychological effect of the "reward" that we'd likely claim. As it is now we're likely to stop playing when we each get to about 90,000 lps since there is nothing we'd want available. We looked at the Mirage suite awards but they have so many restrictions it isnt worth the aggravation to us to book around that.
This is a marketing tool for MGM but unfortunately they havent expanded the program enough to make it attractive to the customers that they want to attract, that is, those customers who will spend a fair chunk of chg gambling in their casinos.

Limit increased to 4 from 3 if you buy chips

I found that before I bought any chips, the limit was 3. You can see that when you click a reward. and click next before you actually buy it, they will state your limit. I just spent $9 and now it shows a limit of 4. I think its worth buying at least $5 or $9 just to increase the comp limits. Good luck everyone.

My wife just bought $5 in chips and her rewards increased to 4 instantly..

We already have two planned ($75 NYNY and 2 Zarkana tickets) but having 2 more rewards opens up a bunch of options to spend out 75K in points..

Subject to change at any time.

This is not exact - but these seem to be the rewards
    Buy $5 get 4 in 30 days
    Buy $138 get 6 in 30 days
    Buy $398 get 10 in 30 days
    Buy ???(a lot) get unlimited

The Wolfgang Puck buy 1 get 1 don't count toward the limit - more of a coupon.

As shown above - choose the fountain song - never sells out - won't have enough lp's to buy. Select next and see on that page what's listed.

If you bought a lower amount and got a higher or different award please post it.

I'm very doubtful the "Buy ???(a lot) get unlimited" is correct. I spent far less $$ than that and they confirmed to me yesterday via email that I qualify
    for unlimited.

I'm not sure exactly how much I spent, but it certainly wasn't over $398.

The data listed was from feedback given from players. It would be really nice to know how much you actually spent. Go to your facebook email. Then filter for Facebook Credits Receipt from Facebook. The please open up and total them up so we can have an exact amount.

There are a lot of other factors that might also be involved, like if your first purchase was before the Jan. announcement, the number of purchases etc.

I have also heard that players from the U.K. and other countries have other limits because they don't travel as frequently.
Its also possible if you're at a high Mlife level that may also factor in the reward.

Everything is pure speculation until we get more specific data.
So please give us the exact amount.

Buying chips to gain prize limit?

So I have heard that people buying chips gain extra limits on how many prizes they can gain within a 30 day period. Are there any set guidelines for this or how many you can gain? It might be worth it in my case to buy chips as I am trying to use all my prizes on this trip

As far as I know they have not released that information yet. All info floating around so far is annecdotal by people who have purchased chips. I do know that everyone is saying that just purchasing the $5 chip package will up your reward limit to 4 (instead of 3). You can see what your limits are by making like you are going to purchase a reward. I think on the screen immidately after the "purchase this reward" button or something like that is a screen that somewhere on it will list your reward limit.
