If it's that time of year, I keep my socks on, primarily for warmth. Otherwise, outside of wiping down the TV remote, I don't let the thought of germs consume me.

This. Pool flip flops double for slippers in the room.

Yes I always take slippers , once I walked in the room with white socks on and when I went to take them off they were black. That did me in. Never again will I go without something on my feet. So sad but true:cry:

I'm curious on how many people let their kids go down the slides or sit in a swing at the park.

    Hehehehe :vomit:

I'm in the barefoot camp, but I'm not totally reckless, to be extra careful I wee on my feet in the shower to kill the germs.

HA! Just carry a bottle of vinegar with you to pour into the shower or on your feet, vinegar disinfects anything. And in a pinch, pour a little water and vinegar in a glass, makes a for a nice nightcap.
    Still, I'm a slipper person.

I'm a barefoot person as well. But, I'll bring a pair of slippers for the quick run down to the ice machine to refill my insulated backpack.

It was posted in a TR a while ago and I assume he meant into where the ice is dispensed.

I depend on my moderately healthy immune system to keep me from getting any Vegas-borne illnesses due to barefoot walking on hotel carpets and floors.
    A nice shower helps too.

However, I do wash out the drinking glasses provided in the room. I'm not completely bedraggled.
