I saw that there were two high limit rooms for tables. I play Blackjack and Baccarat primarily. What's the difference between the two rooms? Any recommendations? I'm staying at the Wynn next weekend, but going to stop by FB for the first time that Saturday. They approved my LOC this morning, so I'm looking forward to checking it out. I have a stay booked in mid November as well.

Two rooms? I have stayed there many times and never seen two high limit tables rooms. The HL room is very large and has smaller rooms adjoining it, usually with reserved tables (such as the ones behind the bar or between the main room and the bathroom hallway). Is that what you are referring to?

FWIW, the main high limit room deals the usual games (BJ, bac, roulette), is set up for craps (which I have seen open a couple times) and will bring in other carny games when a big enough player requests them. The dealers are all exceedingly friendly, as is the entire staff in the HL. You should enjoy yourself there

I wouldn't call it a HL room, but might he be talking about the Solo Lounge?

Yeah, the solo club area is a defacto extension of the high limit room. Pretty sure it’s s17 rules. I saw $100-500 minimums last week. There are a couple baccarat and blackjack tables.

Got it! Yeah, Solo reminds me more of Whiskey Down at MGM back in the days when it dealt table games. Yeah, it offers the same good BJ rules as the HL room and also has some other games, but its a very different vibe and atmosphere than the typical high limit.

So back to @Philstyle30 question, the main difference between the HL room and Solo is the environment. Solo is dark, plays louder music, is smaller, a little more open to the rest of the casino/resort, and has plenty of people playing and drinking at the bar as well as the couple tables in there. HL room is a more typical HL room experience. Its bright, sleek, dedicated servers, more experienced dealers, fewer people just hanging around (ad those that are are usually sitting at a bar or at furniture not immediatel adjoining the tables), there's a HL cage, and dedicated bathrooms

Yes, I was talking about the solo lounge. I was under the impression it was like another high limit room, but wasn’t entirely sure. Appreciate the feedback! Looking forward to checking it out for the first time next Saturday.

Solo is my favorite HL room in Vegas. Dimly light, lively tunes and signature cocktails. Has kind of an “old school cool” vibe too it that you can’t find many places. Closest analogue would be the HL room at Nomad.

Shout out to Solo for having UTH again. It was there, gone, and back within a matter of like 4 months. The only mid-high limit rooms that I play in that have it are RW HL and Solo Lounge.

After being a BJ player for many years, UTH is my new favorite game as of this year.

I like having it in the rotation. The vast majority of my time is spend at craps, UTH, and BJ, with Bacc, Video Poker, Mississippi Stud, and Pai Gow thrown in here and there.

DD in the main HL room was hit soft 17 when I was there in June. Hit 17 in HL is ridiculous and should not be played, no matter how swank the surroundings.

Yeah, I wrote some posts earlier this year about that change. Very disappointing considering that they were the only operator on that end of the Strip offering S17 at DD at the time. But the resort appears to be losing money left and right so they are going to do what they can to get every dollar they can

During one of my stays, a pit manager gave me a tour of the table game areas. He specifically said they have (2) High Limit rooms/areas, one of which was the Solo Lounge.

Yeah, as I mentioned above, I wasn't thinking about Solo because, IMO, its not really a high limit room (something about blasting music doesn't give me a HL vibe). But if others (including FB management) want to call it a HL room, I can see that

Solo is really nice but I wouldn't consider it a High Limit room. Last trip it was closed for a private event, and the 2 trips prior to that it was closed for remodel. If you like to drink while you gamble, that's one upside in there for me as service can almost be too fast 😂 I play craps and Bacc but have not noticed a Bacc table in there in the past. I'm on the look out for it on my trip next weekend. They also have craps (crapless) with $15/25 mins, which is why I've never considered it to be HL. High end maybe?

I enjoyed my time more in Solo Lounge compared to HL for what it's worth.
