I've done Fly Borgata charters about 7-8 times. Awesome! Fastest time from home to casino. Not sure where you're flying out of, but in my city we fly out of the executive airport in lieu of main airport. No TSA. Direct flight. Adult beverages on flight. Dedicated bus from AC airport to Borgata, where host meets you at VIP check-in.

Borgata is in a class by itself for non-Vegas casino resorts. I would compare it to somewhere between Mirage and Bellagio, which I have stayed at many times. Great restaurants, gaming odds, resort experience. Have fun.

Here is a link to the Fly Borgata program http://www.flyborgata.com

Looks like it's all charter from Oakland County Airport.

Haha, no, I'm from the Philly area, and although I'm closer to about 6 local casinos in PA or Delaware, I would rather hop in the car and drive to AC. It's about a 1:45 drive. My wife and I are low rollers, gold at CET, but it's pretty easy to get midweek comps and sometimes even a Friday night comp. We also get similar offers from Resorts and Tropicana. Haven't received any comps from Borgata, best we have received is an $89 midweek rate. If we want a Saturday overnight and can't get a comp, we will stay offshore at a hotel where rates are better.

I've been going to the Jersey Shore my whole life and love the beach, so being able to gamble is icing on the cake.

The Borgata is very nice, and if you've never been, I am a firm believer in experiencing things first hand. Even in the dead of winter that place has a buzz going on. If you play poker, and I don't, the poker room is really big and seems to be packed each visit. They even simulcast horse racing from around the country.

One of the other reasons I like AC is there are 7 casinos and I like the ability to hop around. A stand alone casino is like a ball and chain. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to visit. The nearby Golden Nugget has some great happy hour deals also.

PS, I think Spirit Airlines resumes seasonal service from Detroit (and a couple other cities) soon, but I think you would enjoy the charter better.

Done FlyBorgata 5 times from Harrisburg.
    20-25 minute flight.
Borgata is easily the best property in AC.
I usually drive now as it is about 2:30 without traffic and I like to arrive and leave when I want.
They used to send offers for two then they started sending them for one and $289 for a guest.
If they get a couple weeks from the trip they send a follow up offering a second free seat.
The nice thing is there is no messing with TSA or lines.Private terminal, get on the plane, bus waiting on arrival.
Worth trying one time if you have not done it.

Did it a few weeks ago from a Teterboro. So fast and easy! Loved it. Makes you understand why flying private is so nice.... no TSA, no lines. Definitely worth doing.
