So, I jokingly asked for Maker's rocks at the Boars Head tonight... and got a snootful of it. Did they give up already, or do they recognize a VIP savvy player?

Bartender's discretion? Hopefully they ditched the policy. Makers mark isn't that much more costly to the casino.

The little coffee maker I ordered off Amazon arrived. It's perfect! It's pretty small, and light, and it works. Has a reusable basket.

It was about $13 and now I can save probably $10-$15 a day not buying Starbucks - maybe even more on the strip.

And, I don't have to go down to the casino in just my underpants in the morning to get that Starbucks - this is a huge advantage for all concerned.

Was chasing this ridic high royal progressive last night - when I quit it was over $2200! On quarters!

Remember Brian the morning bartender at MSS, now retired? We arrived one morning and Brian says you have to go play it, it's now $2,100 and will hit very soon. "it never goes that high". $200 later, we gave up. Yea, it hit about two hours later.

Brian was a great guy with an interesting work history and once he retired, nobody at MSS ever heard from him again. I hope he is out at his cabin fishing everyday!

I knew there was a reason I should have gone downtown. Missed my chance to meet the Royal Flusher.

His picture of the bank also shows why I think they should offer more games with faster moving progressives, imo. It's still below 100% at that point and the bank is near full!

@Royal Flusher you also wrote in your blog it was 9/5, it's 8/5 in the pic. 9/5 would be positive at $2200.

I bet it got hit. But then again, I saw Luxor's quarter progressive jump from $2660 to this in 42 hours. The guy with the blurred face hit it, lucky bastard. I couldn't get a seat, obv.

As for 9/6 Ultra Bonus Poker, it's decent at 98.75%, but playing this perfectly would give Bob Dancer a workout. Tons of penalty situations.

Hope you're sandbagging a Royal on us! ;)

My little Black and Decker one cup coffee maker is one of the first things I pack. Has held up for years, and always makes me happy first thing in the morning! Enjoy!

Headed down to T.I. yesterday. Amazingly, Uber worked. However, the driver was a moron.

I put my pickup pin squarely on the Main Street Station vale. I watched on the screen as his little car icon drove from his last dropoff at the Plaza right by me to the California valet entrance. Then he left and circled the block, passing me again. Then he turned right on 1st Street I think it is, the one that dead-ends at the Fremont Street Experience behind Binion's. Then he turned around and passed me again. I'd messaged, and then he called. It was about 20 minutes from when he accepted the ride until I got picked up.

The ride to T.I. was swift and well-driven so I tipped him $3 in Loser Bucks.

I mastered that waiving hand horseshit, and half the fucking sprinkles just bounced off my always perfectly placed palm! I gave up on the Simpsons. Too many bonus games that were less then 5 times my bet.

It's pretty! But it stole from me with every try. Great report BTW!

Given that the simpsons isn't a game of chance...I've always wondered if the hand even matters or if you get the same thing even if you leave your hand in the same spot and never move it

Did you have Amazon deliver direct to your hotel room or to the hotel and they called you to pick up? In June we will be at Bally's 10 days and I plan to pick up a microwave for the room on the way to the hotel. If I can have delivered that would be great. Ideally I would have arrive the day I do so wouldn't have the room number.

    Thanks

I had Amazon deliver to the hotel. I actually had two packages delivered successfully - the coffee maker and an adapter plug.

The way to go about it in terms of addressing is to put your name followed by 'room 222' or 'hotel guest' if you don't have a room.

The other thing is to check with Bally's on their policies - they may not take delivery of a package if you aren't yet checked in, for example.

    So what's the world's smallest/cheapest/deliverable room microwave?

Well Walmart and target have them for about $70 which I would have to pick up on way to the hotel. If I can get that delivered it would sabe me a bit of hassle getting to the hotel

It only has to last ten days. I will follow up with Bally’s on their policy thanks
