I’ve never stayed downtown- have always wanted to. Resort fees for downtown hotels? What is the world of Vegas coming to? Just for laughs I peeked my head in at TA. They have an entertaining thread on Sleazy Resort Fees going on right now. You know you’ve missed all the good stuff when you can see multiple comments removed.

Awesome TR keep it up I’m loving the details. Maybe call it quits on Keno, though it does sound like a lot of fun seeing if you have won or not from your room!

I think about that horrid house edge all the time - and yet... I can buy a $30 or $40 ticket and it can take an hour or two to play. It's hard to get hurt by the house edge at that rate, and I have a chance at hitting something decent.

I think I'll probably lose interest after I've ticked a few boxes - like all hitting 6 numbers on a multiway ticket. :)

My kind of salad - no lettuce unless that pound of cheese is hiding it - it needs a few more beets though.

    (Lffted this from your site)

I close my eyes - then I drift away
Into the magic night I softly say
A silent prayer like dreamers do
Then I fall asleep to dream my dreams of you.

Perfect way to end a day in Vegas with the Orb - You Mr Flusher have the gift ! :nworthy::nworthy:

Fingers crossed - it's been almost a year

I’ve added a new word to my vocabulary “twatness” — my auto spell wanted to correct to testiness. Thank you I feel my IQ rose at least one point.

Wow! So much to say - I love the references to Patton. Great movie - can't not watch it whenever it is on. I think I have it recorded. One question - did you win your $25 match play at Plaza? Given you walked away a winner, I think the answer is yes. Good luck for the remainder of your match plays and your trip.

Thanks! Yes I did win the match play - did a little edit to make that clear. Glad you mentioned it!

I used to pack a 4 cup coffee pot in my luggage, (my wife wants her coffee immediately), Then I found a 12 cup, whose box was just 1 inch longer. As far as average price per cup, I have used it as a spare for my home pot that has given up the ghost twice. I still over pack clothes, even though I have that 12"x10"x7" box in the suitcase. My wife is happy, and I still have NEVER paid over what McDonald's charges for a cup of coffee.
