Ten days?! That's a shitload of hot pockets. ;)

Just curious - what do you plan to eat? Saving dough or just prefer to microwave stuff?

Most hotels charge a fee for packages for hotel guests. You may want to look into an Amazon locker or just pick one up at Walmart or Target while in town.

You know how you have maybe a bad run in the casino one night and you slink back to your room clenching your fists and feeling very angry and knowing you should take a break so you sit in your room and put on some shitty TV show and then grind up one of every pill, vitamin, Rolaid, and antihistamine you have and snort the whole mess and then throw successively heavy objects against the windows to see what it takes to break one?

Nice sunrise got up this morning.

Ha. No actually we have our twins this trip. They just turned two so will heat stuff for them. May not be totally necessary by then but just planning ahead. Also nice to have for leftovers from those big heavy dinners

I want to make as easy for my wife as possible since she agreed to come. We will be watching the 7am World Cup matches from the room so heat up some breakfast stuff, coffee in the room, kids running around..should be fun.

    Yes, double deck game.

I'd be interested in knowing how you figured that out. I made up a figure of 1 in 22,000 and change. Do you assume that only one deck on average is in play, or one and a quarter decks?... All Aces could be in the part of the deck that gets played, for example.

    H1: 8/104 x 32/103 x 2
    H2: 7/102 x 31/101 x 2
    H3: 6/100 x 30/99 x 2
    H4: 5/98 x 29/97 x 2

    Overall Probability = H1 x H2 x H3 x H4

The x 2 on each hand is because the order of the 2 cards doesn't matter.

And card removal only matters with cards that you actually see revealed. So things like penetration don't matter. I understand why people think it might, as sometimes more than four aces could be not used before the shuffle therefore making it impossible. But other times, you might see all Aces, and then the probability in that case increases greatly. I'm too dumb to show the math proof, but these scenarios will perfectly balance out.

    Flusher,

I am now the proud holder of a coveted Flusher card, though I'm not sure about the "coveted" part. I tried using it like a credit card at a number of places in Vegas and nobody would accept it. I tried to pay the Lyft driver with it and he wouldn't either. So maybe it's like so many other things we can't convert to monetary value - "priceless."

My wife, gambling friend and I were downtown for a few hours during the afternoon on Saturday, March 10th. Apparently you were in the neighborhood. We stopped at the Four Queens and I checked out the progressives at the Mikes Bar (I know it's got some other real name). The Deuces Wild royal was the highest I've ever seen - over $2500. We sat down to chase it. After awhile I started talking with Bald Mike. Never mentioned you, the board, or anything, but somehow he figured it all out. That's why the Mikes are special. He hands me your card. I was quite surprised and complimented him on his detective skills. He made me promise to post it, which I am very late in doing, but we didn't get back until last night.

I was hoping for a bigger surprise at the Four Queens, like hitting that royal, but that didn't happen. But later on I had a great run at the DTG - four quads in forty minutes, the last being "the big one" - four aces with kicker. I cashed out a couple of times along the way, so the final figure on the machine doesn't reflect the overall winnings. Starting with $80 I made over $600. Would have been greater, except pressing to dollars after hitting the big hand I quickly dropped $80. Funny how that happens. Pictures below.

Over $2500? Wow. And nice pull from just an Ace!

And maybe someday, I can have one of those stylish cards!

Damn those cards are lucky. Wish I had one.

Nice pull from a single Ace, just goes to show you.
