Hi all, have sat at Pensacola and Panama City rooms and found them to be very agreeable for a recreational/non professional player with great promos and cocktail service coupled with the option of betting the dogs..

Has anyone played the bigger rooms (Daytona, palm beach, etc etc) and do you recommend them for a 3-4 day stay.....if so do the poker rooms partner with local hotels close byfor promo rates.

I play 3/6 limit for a few hours each day of non stress and 1/3-2/5 rest of time.

Bestbet Jacksonville has some agreements but it is hit or miss.

I would only consider OceanOne Resort and Spa, expensive but right on the beach or Hampton Inn at the beach but you're then looking at a 20 minute car ride each way to get to the poker room.

I play at Daytona regularly. They have about 50 tables, most active are 1-2 2-2 limit, 1-2 and 2-5 no limit. Usually an Omaha table also. Tons of tournaments and high hand promos every day. Today, for example, it was $375 every 15 minutes.

I believe they do partner with some local hotels but there are tons of affordable options n Daytona if you just avoid Bike and Speed weeks.

Bit more of a drive for you but down in SW Fl is our local track and room rates drop after Easter.Lot of Quality Inn types a few miles away.I do not think they partner with anyone,But not sure.

The Immokolee Seminole casino is 30 or so minutes away and they have a new hotel there also..

May be smaller than what you are looking for,but a lot less hustle and bustle of the East Coast of Fl
