Hi all - I'm booked for a quick solo trip to Cosmo in early August. My general plan was a little pool time in the morning then post up at the chandelier and sportsbook bars for VP and drinks pretty much all afternoon and into the evening, with maybe a bit of blackjack at night as well. Bars closing obviously hampers this and I'm rethinking whether or not I will have fun under the changed circumstances.

This is such a basic question but I've just never noticed or paid attention - what sort of VP options are available on the floor (DDB single hand $0.25 - $1, DDB DSTP $0.25)? Where are units located (meaning, are they in an area that can provide a fun atmosphere or are they tucked behind a corner)? Any comments on floor drink service?

Hanging out at these bars provided a natural hangout/people watching spot, felt luxurious/fancy, allowed for some social interaction (which I understand would probably be lessened anyway), and easy access to good drinks. Anyone care to tell me that floor VP is just as enjoyable/convenient? Thanks in advance.

No idea about the poker, but Cosmo drink service has always been great for me.

I like the multiplay units right outside the high limit slot room. Drink service has always been great

I was about to post exactly the same. I cannot recall if there is any palatable single-play VP in that area at quarters/Kennedys/dollars, but one can play one hand at five coins on the hundred-play machines outside of HL.

Ditto; these are the only VP machines I’ve played on the floor at Cosmo.

Most require a $1 hand max bet minimum iirc (the low denomination 100 play) or $25 (the quarter+ high denomination 100 play).

But I think the DDB paytable on 1c-10c DDB is 9/5.

@csu, as for DSTP, there are a couple of stand alone units on the floor along the main pathway that's a little beyond clique that have 7/5 Bonus (98.51%) for quarters, but i think they only have 8/5 DDB (97.27%) on them. Aria has 9/5 DDB on their quarter DSTP (Row 802/804 near MLife Desk).

One thing you could do though is. Play 1 line at 5 coins of hot roll in the high limit room. At the 10 line 50c level at least I think it's 9/6 DDB (98.98%), but you can play one line for 5 coins as I don't think there is a minimum bet requirement set. I might be wrong on that though.

As for single line, Cosmo is terribly consistent throughout the casino afaik. Quarters-50c: 8/5 DDB (96.79%), $1-$2 9/5 DDB, $5+ 9/6 DDB (98.98%).

For the Game Kings at the quarter level, I prefer to play 6/5 Super DDB (97.69%) at Chandelier (or single line on the floor, but I usually play nickel STP on the All Star II unit next to Clique instead). Super DDB is my go to at CET on the floor for quarters too. There are a few strategy changes though, that can be found here.

As for drinks, if you're close to high limit it's decent. Ive had more spotty results by the DSTP machines. But most of time I'm at bartops. Boo.

Maybe not exactly what you are looking for, but there is a 100 play multi denom machine that I can usually spend a couple of hours on pregaming. Drink service is great and it is right on the main walkway so the people watching is great. It's across from the walkway from high limit slot and gift shop, to the right of the walkway and is facing the rear of the property.

Cosmo is a very high end slot casino. You will find a wide range of denominations but smallest I have seen are .25. Also VP isn’t as abundant as normal slots
