Staying at Flamingo next week in a comped Fab room, strip view. Wondering if that is the best option for quick access to walkway to Caesars for a conference, or if the Go Room strip view is any better? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

You can cross LVB at light but is a long walk.....we usually do the walkway by Cromwell - then take the escalator down to the street level instead of going thru Bellagio. We think it is a little quicker that way...

Fab vs Go rooms....prefer Go room....furnishings are much nicer & we had a nice strip view....our kids were in a Fab room & theirs had the advertising film on the windows which obstructed the view....

Heck, it's not THAT long of a walk. The Flamingo is across the street from Caesars and you can cross on the street at the North end of Flamingo or take the skywalk at the South end of Flamingo.

Yeah it's across the street. Exit the southernmost door by Bugsys Bar and cross over the bridge by Cromwell.

Thanks for info so far. I guess what I'm wondering is, what rooms are closest to the elevators to get to the Cromwell area exit. Is there anything more specific I should ask for to make this a quick to/from? Hope that makes sense.

Flamingo has several banks of elevators so most rooms are "close". I'd guess a strip view room would be the shortest walk to Caesar's but it wouldn't be by much.

The Lobby tower is much closer to the exit near Cromwell, I always preferred to stay in that tower since it was also closest to my VP area! The next closest would be the Spa Tower and the furthest would be the Habitat tower. The Habitat tower is only a few minutes further away than the Lobby Tower, but you do have to walk through the casino to get to the exit. The Lobby Tower has both Go and Fab rooms, depending on the floor. It also has both strip view and habitat views, it just depends which side of the hall the room is on. My BFF Flowers usually stayed at Caesars while I stayed at Flamingo, so that walk is something I've done a thousand times. Easiest access is the Lobby Tower for sure, once you exit the elevators in the Lobby, you are out the exit and over the walkway into Caesars in 5 min flat.

And BTW I do greatly prefer the GO rooms to the Fab rooms... to the point I won't stay in a Fab Room. I didn't like the slick "hardwood" floors, they were really slick when I stayed in one! The deal breaker for me is the hard bed.... the Fab rooms bed is much harder than the softer bed in the GO rooms. A lot of people like hard beds, but I really don't, so this isn't a "vacation" room for me. Additionally, the TV in the Go rooms is much larger and the Go rooms have a frig, not to mention the bathrooms in the Fab rooms are pretty old and I love the TV in the bathroom mirror in the Go room. Just some points to ponder.
    Enjoy your stay!!

    This pretty much nails it.

Although I'd like to add that, unless they've fixed things in the last 2 months, all of the elevators suck (sometimes you'd literally wait 15 mins for one).
