I have a 4 night comp at Luxor, but have a 2-night comp at Flamingo/Harrahs/Bally's. Being charge resort fees only for these 3. Since I will be staying at the Luxor South Strip for the last 4 nights, I wanted to take advantage of the Mid-Strip for the extra 2-nights. I have never stayed at Harrahs or the Flamingo, but love their location. Not looking for party atmosphere as I am older 55ish. Which would you choose? I heard Harrahs has the newer rooms. I will be staying the second week in May, so hopefully the weather will be nice.

    Thanks!

Out of the two for you I'd choose harrahs. Out of the 3 I'd go ballys for location and basic room layout.

I'd vote Harrahs. Lively casino, mostly renovated rooms.

They both have renovated rooms. Personally, I prefer the Flamingo over Harrah's. If you can get one of the renovated Flamingo rooms, those are very nice!

I've stayed both this year. For me it's a coin flip. Which room category are you comped at Flamingo?

Basing my choice on entry level rooms:
    1. Bally's (440+ sq ft rooms. All rooms are new/new-ish plus center strip location. Bonus you can possibly get a Bellagio fountain view.)
    2. Harrah's (Recently renovated so now all rooms are fresh and modern.)
    3. Flamingo (Would bump past Harrah's if they renovated their fab/go rooms.

Flamingo, book a "Flamingo Room"...recently renovated.

Harrah's, the Valley Tower was renovated a few yrs ago and the Mardi Gras now known as the Mountain tower has been done very recently.

Bally's, the Resort Tower was done about a yr ago.

You may have additional comp nights at the CET props. Just enter your dates into the calendar and see what comes up.

Just a basic room. This will be my first time using a CET Comp. I am a very low-roller, but I want to stay at least a couple of nights mid-strip.

Check my post out. I have stayed at almost all of the basic rooms at CET except for Paris which is on my books for June.
Bally's is the most mid strip of the three CET options you gave followed by Flamingo.

Not sure why you discounted Bally's. Too far south? If atmosphere does not matter it is a bigger nicer base room than either.

Im really not a fan of the fab rooms so I would normally lean Harrah's, but I believe they have some construction going on. If they offer you a Flamingo Room instead of Fab or Go maybe.

But Ballys would be my top choice.

To this point, I have considered your question as I read it which is you've already stayed at Bally's and want to try a different place. If that's the case...
For a base room, I'd go with Harrah's, as they are all new. Although I like the Flamingo's older GO rooms, you may not.

If I misread your question and Bally's is in the running....I have stayed at all three in the past 7 months. All were fine, but I prefer Bally's. I agree with others in recommending Bally's Resort rooms over the other two.

I vote the Dirty Bird. Best lower tier property on the strip IMO. They have new rooms as well and your a quick stumble to O’Sheas which may be the best bar in Vegas if your into Booze, and Gambling, and Music and Fun.
