Allegiant air took off out of Lansing,Mi about an hour and a half late but i figured, so what, i'll get there. We ariived with my two friends which the female half had already got cut off on the plane, grabbed a limo and me and my wife and buddy and his wife were off. Got to the hotel about 11 a.m and started drinking. It's hard to remember everything but i will give some high points and lows.
One night in the lounge at the Golden Nugget a cute little blonde took a likeing to my wife. Me and my friend enjoyed watching that for a while, laughing the whole time. There seemed to be a lot of the undesireables as security calls them hanging out in Fitzgeralds around the band, but security kept up the best they could kicking them out. But, on Friday one of them kept trying to talk to my wife which didn't bother me untill it bothered her so i kind of grabbed him a little and told him to stop. He apologized but look who's back 10 minutes later. Well security kicked him out twice. On saturday guess who? I was talking to a couple by the dance floor and the guy pointed it out to me but before i could get over there, Ed the bass player for the Speaks Brothers band put his guitar down in the middle of the set and came off the stage and grabbed ahold of him and reitterated what i told him, this time security came and told him he would be charged with trespassing if he came back. Never seen him again. This is one reason i stay downtown, not the bum, but the people you meet there that work there become friends that will help you out even though it's not their job.
Anyways we drank ourselves into a come everyday and gambles alot. Won some lost some but came home with money i planned on spending, so i call that winning. Did earn the emerald club card. The host came out and introduced us to the main host. That was cool of her. She then let me know i,ve been paying $6 for smokes for nothing. All i had to do was ask for a host to get me a pack. She also let me know to call next time i'm coming down and they would send the limo to pick us up.
My friend had to pay this 60 year old black lady 10 bucks to quit trying to kiss him and leave him alone at the bar one night(now that was a sight to see)
One more story you might find funny. One night all 4 of us head down to Glitter Gulch and order the mandatory 8 drinks. Right after the girls leave and tell me and my buddy we can stay. Well i went into the other room for my dances and i guess my buddy decided i was gone to long and left. So then i leave and i guess i should have looked in the mirror before i left because when i got back my wife didn't quite find it as funny as she did the next couple of days a drunk guy walking thru the casino with lipstick all over his face. So the next couple of days my wife and her friend kept putting on lipstick and kissing all over my cheeks well i was in the casino. Did go to Sapphire's one night but nothing quite so dramatic there. But it was light when we walked out. Sorry for the length i could ramble forever after i go to vegas about my trip. Thank you for reading though.
