    My Trip Report

Whew! Time flies when you're having fun! We arrived 2 nights ago around 9:30. Easy direct flight, got to check in and there was no line! We had reservations for 3 rooms. One for me and hubby, another for our son who we brought to celebrate his 21st birthday and a room for our daughter, fiance and their toddler who would be arriving in the morning. They were able to put our son in a room right next to us which makes things pretty convenient.

Ok so all in all we have about 30 people down here celebrating these birthdays and weddings. Its a lot to coordinate so we aren't really trying except for a birthday party last night and a wedding and nice dinner on Wednesday. We are using a group chat to find people when we want to hang. No drama and it's working fine.

After check in we headed to Shake Shack to grab an late dinner. We had just enough time to eat before midnight when Mack, my son officially became legal. From there we had some drinks and little fun playing slot machines. My husband ran to the nearest craps table and lost 350 in about 20 minutes. I know its easy to do sometimes. He said something about it being a weird table with no dark side. Weird. Maybe he was just drunk.

Heading towards 1 I was ready for bed, but Mack remained me we needed to go to the pot store. Ugh I forgot. We ordered an Uber and he took us to some joint over past Rio and the Palms and waited for us to shop. We come from WA state and have some pretty nice stores. This place was a little different in that you had to sign in(?) And the take you to the back to get your goods. No glamour at all. I waited in the lobby. Mack said prices were about 3 times what they are back home, but thay were nice and gave him a free joint for his birthday. Ok business done we were back to the hotel around oh idk I was drunk. Slept in and woke up feeling great and excited to see everyone arriving in the morning.

Right now I'm going to run, as the kids want to go check out Ballagio. All the guys except for Mack are out golfing 36 holes today sucker's have fun in the heat! I will try to post later about yesterday...we had a great birthday party at Top Golf!

I'm not great at documenting all this but so far it's been a great time with so much drinking food and gambling ! Tonight's plan will be bachelorette parting...i think there will be a good mix of people, some youngins who still like to wear heals on the strip, and some of us who are old enough to know better! If the guys survive golf today they will do their own thing, there was talk of a strip club, but probably just depends on how ambitious they are.

Man, it was just to difficult for me to write this trip up day to day! We got back late last night so I am going to try and remember details the best I can.

After losing money gambling on Sunday new decided to walk over to Hooters for some cheap gambling. Let me tell you that place is tired, and so are the dealers and cocktail waitresses! Still, the 5 dollar craps table was a great place to get my sons feet wet. The boys played craps and blackjack, I played some slots. We all walked away a few hundred dollars richer so it was a happy afternoon.

At five we walked back over to MGM, it was time to meet up with the rest of the family who had arrived. My daughter with her toddler and fiance, my kid's dad and his girlfriend and my sisters among a few and it was a nice family reunion. We hit up one of the pubs and they managed to set us together. We were just there for snacks and a drink because dinner was planned for later at top golf. The nachos were amazing and we were in and out so that most of our party could go see Ka.

While everyone went to enjoy Ka it was time for us to pull baby duty. My daughter brought her sweet one and a half year old for a couple reasons, 1, anyone qualified to watch her was in Vegas, and 2, my daughter and her fiance were getting married down there and the wanted baby there. It really worked out well because finances family was there staying off strip and they kept her most nights. Baby just made some nice appearances throughout the week and everyone was happy!.

I have never taken children to Vegas and honestly unless it's a child focused trip I just wouldn't. It worked out well for us because of the huge amount of family to help, but I could not imagine hauling a kid around the strip in a stroller all day!

Anyway getting back to it, Monday was my night to be responsible, and it was a good time! We headed over to Excalibur and took the tram to Mandalay to see Shark reef. We let baby run around for an hour checking out the fishies, the had a wonderful time, and after we got done buying toys in the gift shop it was time to head back to meet everyone at Top Golf. I guess I forgot to take pics at Shark reef, but here is a pic of me and my sweet grandbaby from the pool area.

Top Golf was such a great place for us to Celebrate my sons 21st birthday. My ex really did an awesome job setting it all up. We had 3 bays all next to each other with an awesome speed of food. We had two amazing gals dedicated to our party to get drinks etc, and the service was really amazing.

The space worked out well because there are sofas and tables in the bays to chill between hitting golf balls. The music was just loud enough to where we could easily carry on conversations and comfortably hang. The guys in our group are golfers so naturally they had a great time competing with each other, but it was still a lot of fun for us girls to play around. We had the bays from around 9:30 to 11:30. At the end of the night the waitstaff came out and led everyone in singing happy birthday to Mack. He wasn't thrilled about the attention, but we loved it! I think I have some pics from top golf. I will check.

Walking back Mackenzie talked me into helping him out with his birthday joint, (I haven't in about 20 years). Feeling great, my son and I then had the best mom/son time ever after the rest of our party puttered out. We hung in the casino drinking, 20180806_225136.jpg 20180806_225556.jpg 20180806_225119.jpg playing slots till about 3. I lost all my money. He continued his birthday luck and won. It truly was an amazing day. Family values! image_20180807_005748_1533628724439.jpg

Here is one of my niece and my son. Her 21st was in April but she waited to celebrate with all of us. My sister booked a really fun 2 bedroom suite for her and her friends. Spoiled kids 20180806_225346.jpg

Sounds like a fun trip! I have gone to Top Golf a few times with my kids (grown at 28 and 32) and it's really a lot of fun, even if you don't play golf!

Tuesday morning was a little rough for me, but not too bad. Hey husband and the rest of the guys took off for golf around six to play a couple of rounds at Piaute golf resort. I heard it was beautiful, and hot, and more about their actual play of which goes in one ear and out the other for me. They had a good time and all had to take a little rest before taking K out for his batchallor dinner at BLT steak.

I took my time in the morning while a bunch of the gals headed to Ballagio. I told them I would catch up and had some nice quiet time on my own. I headed out to meet them and as it turns out the group made a bunch of wrong turns and ended up at Mandalay idk how. I beat the group by about an hour and they finally arrived tired, hot and sweaty, but in good spirits. 20180807_142444.jpg 20180807_142723.jpg 20180807_131535.jpg

We finished our stroll through Ballagio and headed back out to the strip to wander back. Found a Gucci store and had to send a picture to my 12 year old back at home. 20180807_154919.jpg

From there we dipped into Cabo Wabo for a quick drink on our way to the Taco Bell Cantina 20180807_163700.jpg

We headed back to mgm to get ready for my daughter's batchallorett party. The boys were headed out to but made an easy night of it with dinner at BLT steak and a little gambling. They were all pretty beat from golfing in the heat all day.

The girls headed out to visit Nacho Daddy to start the night. There was a little bit of a wait so we headed into Planet Hollywood for a few minutes of slot play. A few of us came out with some minor wins. If I remember right one of the machines was Breaking Bad. Dinner was a little slow, but good. The brought my daughter a comp tequila shot for her big day. 20180807_202607.jpg

I am a week behind in posting this report so going on pictures and memories. On a plus note, my daughter "dragged " me out to our local casino tonight and I brought home $150 of which I promptly gave to my husband to take my son and his football buddies to the new Slenderman movie. Quiet night, yay!

After dinner we all walked up to Carnival Court. I know it's not the coolest place for young girls to hang, but honestly we all had a blast. The bartenders are always great and free drinks flowed for the younger crowd lol. We had lots of drinks, ridiculous dancing, everyone had a great time. It gets a little fuzzy here..... 20180808_000558.jpg 20180807_233118.jpg 20180808_022304.jpg

On the way back we found a ride who no joke had a 9 seater and first all 12 of us into it. Not smart on anyone. He pulled up to the side of MGM to let us out so he wouldn't get caught. It was just like a clown car. Our drunken selves thought it was a great time, but I wouldn't recommend.

Next day is wedding day that I really want to post about as it was such a special day....I will have to do it tomorrow though 20180808_022909.jpg 20180808_021436.jpg

One thing I forgot to mention is at the end of the nights we wound all meet up at the Level Up area at MGM. They had a mini bowling alley that was 5 bucks a round, and a great gathering place for the group. We did this several nights and it was great drinking fun AND cheaper than slot machines 20180808_030842.jpg 20180808_030926.jpg the guy in the blue in the upper right just photbombed our group. My sister didn't realize he was there. Good times!
