first trip/las vegas hilton

Greetings to all: First Vegas trip, first message board...We stayed at the Las Vegas Hilton. After checking a lot of websites, I found pkgs on the Hilton. We booked two of them back to back. We booked the Star Trek Package. It comes with two tickets to the Star Trek Experience (not big fans, but we probably would have bought the tickets anyway). It also comes with a meal at the Quark's Restaurant which was very nice and much more than we thought it would be. We also got the Entertainment package with two tickets to the Smothers Brothers, my husband liked them but was disappointed that they didn't do much of their old stuff. It included a two for one buffet which was not very impressive. The hotel was probably one of the cleanest I've stayed in and the service was great. The hotel is farther off the strip than we had planned, so our last minute decision to rent a car was a great one. We valet parked in every hotel and that saved a ton of time. The pool was nice although we barely spent any time there. We rented our car at Dollar and had a great experience with them. Just wanted to let someone know in case they were planning on staying there too!

Great description of the Hilton. How did you enjoy the strip? Did you hotel hop, I always love to hear what a newcomer has to say about the place in general. Was it everything you thought it would be. What was your favorite thing to do or see?
Sorry I am replying so late. Was involved the Jerry Lewis (say a prayer for him) Telethon then our University golf outing - just getting back into the reading.
