FIrst timer - trip date 3rd June. Not sure what to expect re.temps

    I can feel your excitement and anticipation, and am happy for you. You will have a great time, for sure. All of the great advice and comments on this board is spot on. These are, after all, Vegas veterans.

    All I can suggest is you might want to wear a hat. My wife's complexion is very sensitive so she wears a sun hat when we venture out on the Strip.

    I also will say wear comfortable shoes with a thicker sole. The sidewalks are hot too. My husband and I tend to wear thicker sole sandals.

    It's been pretty cool so far this year. The other day it was 69 in Vegas and 70 in Anchorage, AK. I looked the other night and it was the same temp in Seattle as it was in Vegas. Friend is headed there next week and I'll be surprised if he sees 80.
