    I've been lurking for a few weeks and decided to finally say hi. My girlfriend and I will be making our first trip to Las Vegas in mid December. I have learned at lot from this site and am glad I stumbled upon it in my many searches about Las Vegas. Thanks everyone for the first hand information, its invaluable.

    Mid December is great time to go, less crowded. You will need a coat it gets cold at night, into the 30's.

    planned on taking the coat. Its 20 degrees right now in Michigan, so if this holds for a couple more weeks 30's will be t-shirt weather.
