First time at Red Rock

Next week I will be spending part of my trip at The Red Rock for a Dental Convention. Out of curiosity, I am wondering how everyone likes this hotel and casino? Never stayed at a hotel in Vegas that isn't on the Strip or Downtown..
 
RR is our favorite off strip casino and hotel and we stay there often. The rooms are large and well appointed, the casino is huge, good food options and a great pool. Downtown Summerlin is a short walk away. I don't think you will be disappointed.
 
Great, great screen name. Stated at RR once on a comp night. I loved the place and wanted to stay there for our December boys trip. I was outvoted.

Great food options, great vp at the bars and very nice rooms. You've also right by downtown summerlin with more great restaurants and shops.

It's a completely different experience than the Strip. More laid back but a very nice property.

We stopped staying on the strip a long time ago and RR is a great place to stay. Especially if you have a car (which we always do). But they do have a shuttle to and from the strip, it runs about every 20 minutes and drops you off at Fashion Show mall (next to the TI). They also have a free shuttle to/from the airport. It's a great property and you won't feel like a sardine.
