I visited Horseshoe Southern Indiana on Friday night with the intention of re-upping my Diamond status. I was at approximately 8,000 tier credits, and I was going to do my best to hit 2,500 credits so that I would get the 5,000 bonus. While I normally play blackjack almost exclusively, I figured the more easily-trackable method of reaching the 2,500 credits would be to play some video poker. My plan was to allocate $1,000 to this endeavor and if I got there I got there, if not, well….so be it. Anyhow, about 10 minutes after sitting down at a $5.00 JOB machine, this happened:

Utter shock. Needless to say, reaching the 2,500 credits was a bit easier and carefree after this happened!

Take it all to Churchill Thursday and put it on #4 in the 7th. Trust me!

    Seriously, though, congrats.

Congratulations, I was playing near you Friday night. I assume you were on the 4th floor. I also hit a royal for 4K on $1 3line Bonus that night. This was my 2nd royal in 2 weeks there.

Way to catch! That's my local boat. They used to give 9/6 on upright quarters and bartop fifties. Then it was only available on upright dollars. Now not even on five dollar. Seems almost every visit they send me a questionnaire and I constantly complain about their pay tables. When I finish filling it out they ask if I want to put my review on TripAdvisor. I'm the one star guy.

nice..but just for future reference, $1000 on $5 video poker is a recipe for disaster, unless you get SUPER lucky, like you did.
Also, $1000 is usually stretching it to get to 1000TC, but obviously ymmv.

It's disgusting what CET has done to video poker nationwide.

    Good hit though.
