So I had my first issue with the ride share program and although minor inconvenience, I still stand 100% behind them and will continue to use them
Got to vegas November 1st, Tuesday nice and early, plane was 25 minutes early and bags came really quick.
head onto to the escalators to go to the garage and onto floor 2M
place my location with lyft and confirm, add ballys as the drop off, not many people in front of me using both lyft and uber, says a black cadillac cts is on its way in 5 minutes, I watch the girl drive by the turn in the garage and keep going up. my phone says your driver is here so im locked in now. but no car around. I get a call that she is there waiting for me but doesnt see anyone. I told her im in the lyft/uber ride share on floor 2M. she says that she is going from floor 3 to floor 7, I said thats a big jump but you drove by your turn for floor 2M already.
I tried to cancel but couldnt as she had put in that the driver was there. after 15 minutes of watching the car on the app drive around the garage and pass the turn up 2 more times, I decided to get an uber.
right away uber pops up with "surge pricing" estimated cost to ballys $33. so I close that out and finally after 20 minutes and so many people showing up and getting a ride right away, she cancels the ride.
I put my request back in and got a new non-rated driver. he was there in 2 minutes. his app was screwing up on his end but he got it fixed and I got to Ballys for $10
My thing is, how can you be a driver with GPS and not know where you have to go to begin with. it should be Uber/Lyft 101 for any driver to know where the airport pickup and dropoff is
