Day 7 recap... I was afraid to head into the bowels of the casinos today... but a degen is a degen haha Started the day out at the Venetian and Palazzo looking for those elusive slots that paid...or even slots that didn't necessarily give you boat loads of cash but at least let you have fun with them for awhile. Unfortunately didn't find any at either of these casinos. That's alright, Wynn is a beautiful place for a nice handpay... was in and out of there fairly quickly. Hit a bonus on a $2.50 bet and won something like $9.60 lol It was a theme of playing slots on the Strip for me this trip... lose 20 spins in a row, hit a bonus round, win a measly 2 or 3 times my bet, then spin until broke. From Wynn I stopped in for a late lunch, some Mom's Lasagna at Maggiano's. It was good. Had a nice view from my table as well. Over to Treasure Island to see if this old pirate riddled shop would help me turn my ship around. It didn't. I did however get some decent play for my money which was nice. Not as nice as winning, but considering how things were going playing a slot for more than 2 minutes and still having money left was great lol From here the decision was made to go to the Golden Knights game. I gave myself a chance in the casino to see how things would go and it wasn't good, so a few hours at the game doing something that's awesome (and not in a casino) was a good plan to me. Got a great seat in the lower bowl 13 rows from the ice for $81.25 all in. Game was awesome and the Knights are now 7 and 0 with my in the building. Wooo! After the game I decided to try out some blackjack. Sat at a table at Bellagio and proceeded to take a beatdown. Didn't win a hand...might have pushed one hand. Tail between my legs I moved on. Decided a late night beef wellington was a good plan, so I stopped at Gordon Ramsey Pub & Grill in Caesars to use my second Diamond Celebration dinner. As you seen on the receipt I used up most of the $100. It was pretty good! My last ditch effort was at a favorite of mine... the Mirage. Tried a couple slots with the same theme carrying on so I took one last stab at blackjack. My buy in didn't even hit the bottom of the drop box and I was broke lol Decided at that point to quit the gamble for the trip. Sadly my last night in Vegas was an early one, I was hoping to be up all night with fireworks going off everywhere but it just wasn't meant to be. Today I go home. Flight leaves early this afternoon so I will be heading to the airport shortly. I'll post again in the near future with some final thoughts on the trip. It didn't go as planned on the gambling front, but it was damn nice to be back in Vegas after 22 LOOOOONG months! I will be back soon!
