Read this in the paper this morning. Combination of temp(100) and humidity gave NJ a heat index of 110. Death Valley topped out at 105. When I went out at 3pm my truck said 102.

I decided to take a walk at 10 this morning, it wasn't too bad. It got to be soup by 11.

    I need a nap, lol.

It was supposed to cool off today in central NJ. Right!!! It's still 88 and humid. I hate NJ summers.

I did a bike ride today from Queens, over the GWB and up to Piermont. It wasn't too bad going up. But on the way back I was really overheating and had the first signs of heat exhaustion. I took the subway back for the last 12 miles once I crossed the bridge into Manhattan. Good thing the heat spell broke today!
