Feedback on NYNY Pool Cabanas?

Hi VMBers!

We'll be taking the kids back to Vegas to celebrate the Fourth of July. Staying 3 nights comped at NYNY and then 2 additional nights at $60 and $57 (and of course the glorious resort fees). I stayed at NYNY a few times over a decade ago, but we didn't use the pool. It's the only MLife option right now for free rooms, so we're going with it.

I know from what I've read it has one of the more boring pools. Honestly, my kids just like the chance to swim, and I hide my pale skin from the sun while imbibing, so I don't think this will much matter.

We've started doing cabanas now every time we take the kids. Any feedback for the NYNY ones? Booked July 6th for $150, so it definitely didn't break the bank. I'm assuming it's going to be the usual suspects in terms of tent structure, amenities, etc.

I guess I'm basically asking if there's one of the 6 cabanas I should request in terms of location?

Never rented a cabana at New York New York but google MGM Resorts cabanas. This was suggested on another thread and has good info on it.
