Can you tell me about the drinks the girls have? What are they and where do you get them? Sorry if it's a stupid question but this will be my first trip to Las Vegas and trying to find out things ahead of time. Thanks

Thanks for the pics of the GN pool. These are the first I have seen with the pool completed. It looks awesome.
 
The drinks are "yards" and they can be found just about anywhere. The best are found downtown at La Bayou. You're not getting quality but tons of quantity. I had some red one made with everclear and opted for the extra shot. It was very stout and well worth the money.

The game we were playing is beer pong and the bar was Blondies. You get two balls per turn and you throw or bounce them into the opposition’s beer. They have to chug whatever beer it lands in. If you sink both balls then you get another ball back. You just keep going until all the beers are gone and then you start over.

My office is messy, my work phone is ringing off the wall and yet my upcoming trip makes this month feel more like a year. I was just in Vegas, so why do I have so much anticipation? I don't know. All I know is that work has been a bitch lately and I am ready for Vegas. Even though I won't be flying out until 2/1, it's time to start my vacation.

1/26/07- 1/31/07

This time was spent visiting some people, drinking, taking money out of the bank, playing poker online and whatever else I did to pass the time. Who cares?

2/1/07

I wake up and do the normal things people do in the morning. Next, I proceed to get out the cards/chips and play a few hands of blackjack to get the bad cards out early. Is it lunch already? I've never had to use the shitter while on a plane and I want to keep it this way, so I don't eat much before I fly. I can't even recall what I ate at the casa on this day. It's getting about time for me to pickup my girlfriend from work. I proceed to put on my suit because I always try to look like I am on business while flying. It seems you get treated better and I've never been denied boarding, not even on those flights I don't remember………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

More to come.. Wow, at this pace it might take me forever to finish this!
 
I look over my GF's checklist, my suitcases and my checklist to make sure I am not forgetting anything. Finally, I am on those well thought-out (eyes rolling) Austin roads, this one called Mopac. Traffic isn't too bad so I end up getting to her school early. I hang out with the kids for a while, act like a kid for a while and talk about video games to a bunch of 3rd graders. Hey, they started talking to me about these games...............................................................
 
We're done with the school, back on the road and we finally arrive at the airport. Parking was easy and the shuttle hit us perfectly. We check our bags and then my GF steps outside to have a smoke. We run into a nicely dressed, shaky lady, in need of a smoke. My GF gives her a cig, the lady fires up a conversation about our destination and the conversation ends up on the Trop. She's (GF) hungry and I am thirsty (alcohol) so we had back in to fill those needs. After a two hour wait in the airport bar we head over to begin boarding.

The boring parts are about over. Well, my writing still might bore you. <-- 1st trip report, busy person.
 
The plane ride was uneventful and three hours later I am back where I belong. The airport has the heaters running what feels like full blast to me, but Vegas should feel hot no matter what the weather, right? As we enter the baggage claim it looks like there are a lot of high rollers in town, at least this is what I can gather by the mass number of hotel limo signs. How come my Excalibur host didn't send for my limo? :) There is no limo from my pocket nor from the casino on this trip, so we hit the taxi line. It's a small line, we're told to go wait at the number 1 spot and before we know it we are on our way to the castle. We arrive at the castle and try to contact our friends who have been waiting around for hours, but we can't get them on the phone. My host would only book the rooms under my name and the others are unable to check-in, but who cares? I am tired of waiting on them. My girlfriend gives me the patience speech and I agree that wasting precious Vegas time is no big deal (eyes rolling.) They finally show up and I hit the longest VIP check-in line I've ever seen at the Excal. There were random people in line trying to make reservations, redeem oneclub points and whatever else you can think of, but we finally got checked in.

My GF and I are in our room and she is relaxing/fixing herself up, while my money is starting to burn my leg. I proceed to tell her that I am hitting the BJ tables and for her to call when she gets done. Oh no. We've started the trip off on the wrong foot with this comment and I agree to relax (like the plane ride wasn't enough sitting) for a few more minutes……………………………………….
 
Ten minutes go by and she is ready, sparing me my frustration jump from the window. We are down on the casino floor when I tell the GF that she is bad luck and give her some money to play the slots. I told her to come find me in the next fifteen minutes or so and I would let her know if she could join. I am really not superstitious, I just needed to try something different after all the past beatings. I play single-deck or double-deck and never budge from this, but I was tired of looking for a usually easy to find table, so I sat down at a shoe. Big mistake. Anytime I hit a 12, 13 or 14 a face would show up. Then when I needed a face on one of my 12 or so double-downs, it never showed up. No joke. For a while it was just one other player and myself and we were taking a pounding. My GF showed up and then later on some of our friends showed up, but nothing changed for me. Tonight, the drinks were just as bad and this is with a red chip toke per drink. Two hours in, I cut my losses and walked with two black chips. The two chips gave me just enough to buy-in the $100/min-$200/max NL without dipping into my pocket. It's poker time…………………………………………………………………………………….

I am going away for the weekend... So, no idea if I will get anymore up before Sunday night. Someday there will be more. You all have fun.
 
Wow! Great pics! Looks like you guys had a great time! That girl in the 2nd pic on the left is pretty cute!!! :)
