Good for him... I hope he does well. Also hope this doesn't turn into yet another DTG bashing thread...

DTG is an underrated property in my opinion, I hope he does well there! I feel he will.

I hope Curt likes his new position at the DTG.

He will be an asset to them, and I wish him well.

He was helpful to my husband and I on our last stay at the Plaza.

The DTG is the best place Downtown. Hope he finds success there.

Well, that's where hosts that leave the Plaza end up - for awhile. Nathan was at Plaza - then moved to DTG where he became my host. Left DTG to go back to Plaza and then announced his "retirement," and then showed back up to DTG. They must be offering nice $$$ comparatively. Nathan apparently hasn't done much for them, we'll see what Curt can bring, but a host can only do so much at a property that tends to tie their hands.

I hope Curtis will continue to post to VMB with info about his new employer. I have always wondered why other hosts or Casino representatives have not seen the benefit in communicating to this audience. We are there target customers.

    Good Luck Curtis
All I am looking for is a square game, a good drink, and a decent meal.

Well said. DTG has amazing potential if run properly. El Cortez and MSS are further off Fremont St and they seem to be doing well. Does anyone know if they are building more casino space with the rooms addition?

Curt was always very generous with room comps when I would contact him. I think he was a huge plus for the Plaza. Now I hope he can have success at DTG. Good Luck Curt!

He was so very generous on room offers for a micro roller like myself. Made me fall in love with the Plaza. I wish him the best at the new digs.

I hope Curt reads this and knows how much we appreciated his comments and his help at the Plaza. Good luck on your new adventure.

I don't know why they bother with hosts in those cases to be honest.

I would argue that, given its street address, El Cortez is on Fremont St! :poke:

I'll be damned, I always just assumed it was on 6th. Google is reporting it's on Ogden.
