Do you have a favorite Vegas related movie? One you like to watch just before a trip? Wondering if there’s any out there I haven’t seen! For me it’s Hangover, the only time I watch it is just before a trip, so it’ll probably be on this weekend as we fall asleep dreaming of the fun to be had come 6/28!

The Hangover is one of my faves also.

I did enjoy Last Vegas from a few years ago also, which is a kinda Hangover for pensioners with a great cast.

Oh yes Last Vegas gave us a good chuckle. Love the scene when he’s playing bj and they think he’s lost almost all of his retirement money.

Heading to Vegas for the first trip in a while (hope to get a trip report started soon), and was debating this very question on the way to work - what am I going to watch next couple nights? Here are my go-to's...note...not necessarily 'good' movies, but entertaining and have become part of the 'pre-vegas' experience.

    Hangover
    Vegas Vacation
    Last Vegas
    Think Like a Man Too
    Paul Blart 2
    21

Haven’t watched this one in a very long time, might need a refresher!

Haven’t watched Think Like a Man Too or Paul Blart 2.

21 is a good one, we’ll turn that on randomly for background noise. It has some good funny lines in it.

Not one of my faves but still a semi good Vegas flick.

Quite a cheesy run of the mill romcom but it has some good moments.

Hmmm I can’t remember if we’ve watched this or not. I’ll have to ask hubby, he remembers every movie we’ve ever seen.

Paul Blart is a truly awful movie, however if you're a fan of Wynn they filmed a lot of the scenes in the property so there's a lot of current vegas footage.

Think Like a Man Too is much the same, not a good movie, but its more current and a fair amount of Vegas scenery, mainly CET properties (CP, Paris, PH).

I cannot stress enough that I am not recommending these for being "good" movies, simply having some "good" vegas scenes. :) :) :)

Honeymoon in Vegas. The Flying Elvis's (Elvii???) put it over the top of other movies for me.

But the ending of Con Air holds a special place in my heart since I was on Fremont leaving the Golden Nugget one morning around 5-6am when the fire truck with John Malkovich on top (probably a stunt man) drove by.

Not Vegas related, but Rounders is in my pre-trip movie rotation.

    Also, Ocean's 11

I think Rounders falls under honorary vegas movie...:)

I really like Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas. especially the Bazooka Circus scene. Quick! Hop! Like a Bunny!

Hostel part 3 is a decent horror and Vegas related. Not exactly a feel good Vegas film to get you in the mood for an upcoming trip though.

Hopefully I never follow a trip report on here like this

You're kidding, right? It's the longest preface to a Vegas TR I've ever seen.

At the rate Mikey gets to Vegas, we'll have a whole 'nother movie just showing what happens when he tries to get some free SWA drink tickets while sitting in the terminal.

I was waiting for someone to mention these! I love Ocean’s and will watch that with or without an upcomg trip. It might have something to do with the cast and my lamenated card ;)
