I ask this question because as I get older I find that I don’t enjoy busy Friday and Saturday nights like I used to.

I enjoy hanging out and drinking when it’s busy. I enjoy a nice VP bar seat but am really learning to enjoy weeknights and weekend mornings/afternoons. I say this because I hate having to squeeze in to a packed table or the times that every open table is packed. When you do fight your way into a table the play is super slow most times.

On the other hand I really enjoy mornings with a cup of coffee in my hand and the feeling of jumping in anywhere you want with ease.

Please comment on your favorite times to hit the floor.

    Good question.
I am a night owl, so I usually sleep through the mornings. I pretty much stay on this schedule at home and on vacay.
in Vegas I am usually gambling after a late lunch or early dinner and all night after that. I will take some breaks and walk Fremont street, meander around and then gamble some more.
at home if I go to the casino, it is evening / night time.
there is no particular time that if feel more lucky.

We must be the same age. I feel exactly the same. In Vegas, I have a car and on Fri and Sat nights I avoid the Strip like the plague. Any other night, fine. It's fun. And my favorite time is waking up at 4:00am and out of the room by 5:00am to enjoy an empty-ish casino with a coffee in my hands. It's empty and it's like the whole place was built just for me.

I also like empty casinos, but all casinos change their slot machines' cash boxes 4-6am, so I avoid that time.
I hate those people working around me, even though they won't turn off the machine I am playing on.
They also vacuum the carpet that period.

My recent stay at The D I gambled all hours and I enjoyed the busy loud nights but not for craps. I prefer being able to hear the dealers. Morning was really nice everywhere I went. I'm 51 and I need to start making choices on when to gamble because the 24 hour thing is getting too hard, and I think I'll be doing more early morning than late night.

    When I’m winning.

Really though, I prefer the 9pm-2am vibe on the casino floor *if* I can find a few open spots to play with my friends.

If playing alone, I prefer early morning- usually 6a-8a. It’s nice to take a break from the typical Vegas sensory overload & hear the hum of the sweepers while order gets restored from the previous night. Thankfully, I’ve had a handful of nights where my energy & luck lined up and I got to do the two back to back.

Early mornings are an awesome time to gamble. Often you can get the limits lowered, and you can enjoy a nice coffee or OJ, or if you're feeling adventurous have them add a splash of baileys or vodka. The crowds aren't there, and if you want a quiet session, it's certainly available.

I only gamble in Vegas, so when there.. . I'm a Binger. Once I'm on a slot, I can easily stay on till bed time, and prefer one long session to two shorter ones in the same day.

So, I usually don't hit the slots till 5-7 pm then play till I crash. I give myself daily allowances/bankrolls, so how well I do dictates when I play till, usually 1:00/2:00 am am but can easily play till 5/6 am if bankroll and lack of common sense allow.

So, favorite time evening and night... and even witching hour late night!

Def early mornings for me! Love the lack of people.....machine areas usually very clean. The only downside seems to be a dearth of CWs, so I make sure to have coffee in hand when I start my gambling.

I don't think there is a bad time to gamble. :) Vegas is my break from the routine so I never have a set routine in Vegas and just go with the flow.....Because of this, I find myself gambling at all different hours of the day and night....and am super okay with that.

    right now would be nice.
I'd probably know all the bosses and 75% of the dealers on the floor.

I prefer to play craps in the morning or early afternoon. It makes it much easier to find a spot at the table and it usually doesn’t get too crowded.

In the evenings, it can sometimes be more fun with more energy at the table but you also get a lot of people drinking too much and newbies that don’t know how to play. (For the record, I don’t mind new players but the evening is not the best time to learn simply because it is so crowded.)

At night I tend to seek out a blackjack table with a good vibe.

I usually lose in the morning, and then try to play catch up all day. My biggest wins are usually between 11pm and 2 am.

I usually am the opposite. I feel like I lose more at night then win my way back to even or ahead the next morning.

On my own? My favorite is late night...10:00 ~ 03:00. In thinking about it, I believe that's because I associate it with an evening of solitary entertainment. With the wife, it's a joint effort so whatever she wants to do.

Early evening for a few hours. Dinner. Play a few hours after dinner. Daytime hours are too valuable.
