FWIW, I know Morimoto was not open last month. Not sure of its current status, but you obviously want to check before your trip. Of the two, I prefer Morimoto. But frankly, Mizumi is better than both of them, both for sushi and teppanyaki. For your brunch, both are great options. I think I prefer Bouchon, but only ever so slightly
Fooooooood... I spend more on food than anything else when I'm on holiday. Lemongrass & Sushi Samba are two staples every trip, along with trips to at least two really good steakhouses, too.
Thanks! I did end up swapping out Mizumi Teppan. Always good to try something new and I used to make my family take me to a Teppan style restaurant every year for my birthday, but it’s probably been a decade since I’ve been to one. I also swapped Pieros for Edo Tapas. I’ll make a game time decision on brunch based on how Sunday unfolds and last minute availability.
Agreed - I really, really want to get to Piero's. It looks like the kind of place my Vegas-based family would love, so hoping we can all go together once we've had our vaccinations.
