I got to wondering with all the talk about Lady Gaga in the last couple of days, what are your favorite artists?
With such a diverse group on this message board, I'm curious to see if people's music tastes are just as diverse.

    Some of my favorites are:
    Lady Gaga
    Paramore
    Metallica
    Disturbed
    Sara Bareilles
    Avril Lavigne

    Looking forward to seeing responses.

I still like all of the below, but broke it into sections...

    Jazz/Semi-Jazz/Older:

Frank (does he need his last name mentioned?), Dean Martin, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Brad Mehldau, Johnny Cash, Don Williams, Erik Satie, Saint Saens, Mozart, CPE Bach, Stravinsky, Rachmaninoff

Older Rock (Pre-my generation, but I love it):
The Police (one of my all-time favorite bands), Stones, Credence, Allman Brothers, Neil Diamond, Talking Heads,The Ramones, Phil Collins, Duran Duran

    My Generation:

Alice in Chains (one of my all-time favorite bands), Nirvana, Prodigy, NIN, Ministry, Type-O, Stone Temple Pilots, KMFDM, Moby, Daft Punk, Bitter:Sweet, Portishead, Fiona Apple, Korn, Foo Fighters, Offspring, Weezer, Amy Winehouse, etc.

    Current:
Thievery Corp (been around awhile, but still current, one of my "my generation" and "current" favorites!)
Red Hot Chili Peppers (90's---I know they're still around, and LOVE how they've continuously put out great music), Lady Gaga, Adele
***whatever is playing in Cosmo, or whatever casino I am in....always reminds me of Vegas when I am back home! :D***
