DTG Furnace bar has expanded their draft selection a bit. I was drinking Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA. That's the good news. The had news is that they couldn't comp anything but American Macro Lagers. After refusing a beer a second time, a bartender took my card to a host. My host, Curt, came out and said my beer was covered. They kept a duplicate player's card in a glass and put the beer on it. A couple days later I played again. Kurt wasn't there. Another host said he would cover it and asked me what I was drinking and how many. He agreed to 5, but told the BT to call him back after 3. That surprised me. I got a 4th before that BT left, but decided that I didn't want a 5th bad enough to go through this process again.
As reported, 8/5 BP had the best pay tables. The DDB progressive on Aces with Kicker climbed to the high $800's by the time I checked out. It was never hit, but the RF was. It still resets to $1,200.

Annoying they won't freely comp DFH 60 min. But i get it from a bottom line standpoint. DFH is overpriced imo. Bellagio will freely comp 90 min., but Bellagio isn't sweating liquor comps that badly though. Lol

What is it with DTG not wanting to comp anything other than Bud et al? Surely a few of the more common IPA's would not hurt

    Likely money.

They USED to comp Joseph James "Hop Box" and "I'm Out Stout". It cost them a lot the night I was there... lol

Had to show my Gold card to get it at first after that never asked me again for my 15 day stay

That's good, but unless policies have changed, Filament does NOT comp while gambling. So you'd need something like a gold card to get it for free. And 15 days? Wow!

But multiple strip bars will give it for free.

However, I could see that really changing soon with Ballast Point's sale to Kings and Convicts Brewing. That company is in Chicago. I now live in Chicago. Have I had one of their beers? FUCK NO. I've never seen one even sold in a local store!!!

That’s too bad, we actually have Sculpin available in liquor stores up here in Ontario, guessing that’ll change shortly too

Tried one of those Stone collabs (Double Red) at a craps table because the lady next to me already had the waitress getting them from 777s, liked it but had to downshift back to High Rollers to go all night.
In other news, last time at GG, they no longer had stone delicious IPA, but still had the regular, which was close enough. Cocktail service is still slow, to me. I usually start with one from the bar, but it's usually well emptied before my next one at the table shows up.

GG still has a tap labeled Stone Delicious IPA. I didn't order one though. I was mostly on their Founder's Breakfast Stout.
The Stone Collaboration would have been their double red.

Binion's Whiskey Lickers has a decent beer line up for a DT casino. They have around 20 taps with about half devoted to micro's. They also have a few dozen canned and bottled beer running from the mundane macro to 12% + ABV. You can get these comped like I did, by paying with comp dollars, or you can play VP at the 4 machines at the end of the bar. Pay tables aren't great with 7/5 BP and 9/6 DB. Some games improve when playing dollars. There is a promotion going on through August that adds 1.25% EV to games. If I were a dollar player I would play downstairs, earn a shitload of comp dollars on an otherwise slightly + EV game, and enjoy the good food and beer upstairs, but I'm sure you can get a quick, good comped beer by slow playing one of the machines. Tell Mo that an Alaskan sent you. The place is nice. It's an App, burger, sandwich joint with some salads thrown in.

Example of 12% beer? Caught up to your report and saw KBS. If they'll comp that that's great!

Any Vegas stuff other than CBC?

The 12% was the KBS that is either canned or bottled. Didn't pin the BT down on the potential comp. He says the machines don't get played much, so I'm guessing yes. CBC was the only vegas stuff I noticed, but have two seasonals, a coffee and the Trippel.

KBS is bottled and is released once a year. It's good and will F you up if you are getting comped and down a few. Been there done that.
