Bush's Brown Sugar Doctored up with bacon and maple syrup. If done properly, molasses makes a killer baked bean crock as well, but the ingredient portions have to be spot on.

bigbeans.jpg Hope this photo worked. Too funny, I was just trying to remember these beans I was telling my hubby about. He had never heard of them. This thread made me do a quick search and low and behold. Back in the 80's, bought these all the time. Any body else remember these? Came in two cans, one with beans and the other with the sauce and 'tapped' together. You would add the sauce to the beans. I recall it had quite a bit of onions and some bacon also was sweet.

Now it is Bush all the way.

Ranch Style Beans -- my favorite. Not exactly a baked bean - more of a barbecue style pinto bean. Popular here in Texas.

Me too - born and raised in PA - never knew any other brand than Campbell's - loved beans and weenies as a kid.
I prefer baking my own (mom's recipe), but always have Bush original on hand.

Big John's were the beans of choice for camping. Pity they don't make them any more.

Van Camps Hickory or Hickory w/Bacon - For quick baked beans, just dump a few cans in a casserole dish and bake till they get thick & gooey - yum!
