I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this but what strip casino has the best(fastest) drink service?
    Who has the worst? Thanks!

We have always had fast service at Cosmo. Worst for us is Plaza and PlanetHollywood. Plaza got better later in the day, after 6 pm.

By far the fastest service is at Harrahs. Second to none.

A lot depends on the time of day you are there, and if it's a busy weekend or not. IMO Bally's is awesome, especially on graveyard shift. All places can be great using the oldest method known to man - when a cocktail waitress brings your first round of drinks, give her a $100 bill as a tip. I guarantee you will not go thirsty the rest of the night and in fact she will bring 2 - 3 drinks to you at a time.

You must not play VP on the floor. Haha

I don't play on the floor often. But some places where I've had not so great experiences in relative order. Flamingo (worst overall), TI, Cosmo (one time waitress forgot my drink and said she'd be "right back" with it, nah she did her full 20 minute cycle instead), NYNY (grabbed beer off waitress tray after I watched her BS with a friend for at least 10 minutes), Bellagio, Ballys, Mirage.

MGM and Aria has been hit or miss.

Few good experiences: Rio and Linq (when they both used ipads), Cromwell (others rave about them), Casino Royale (at least the blonde waitress with huge boobs), Harrahs (but mostly based on one good/well positioned waitress)

One advantage of playing VP, you can over look these things by directly playing at the bar for at least a little bit, so i get my drinks from there at least 95% of the time. I'm an impatient bastard.

Well my rating on ballys is based on daytime VP. Took her a half hour to reappear in September. And if you are serious about the $100 tip , I could just get blitzed for $80 at retail +tip. Lol. Hoping you meant $10. But tipping heavily to start does help a lot if you don't move much. Unfortunately, I hop a LOT.

Another one for Cosmo although not a fan of the new vp bars with the ticketing system, the floor and table service seems quick.

To me the best service has always been at the Cromwell, but ultimately I'm sure that is mainly due to the size of the casino floor. I also would agree that the Linq is quite quick - I think the iPad is a great idea - order takers are different than the cocktail waitresses who actually bring the drink.

It varies by day by shift by pit. I've had great drink service one day and the next day at the exact same time and location the drink service was slow. I've found that a nice tip on the first drink will keep her coming back quickly wherever I am.

Thanks! I just hate it when you have to chase down a waitress or wait so long for your drink you blow through an extra $100 at the machine. I'm a good tipper but unless I'm up BIG I can't imagine $100 tip just to get a drink lol.

We may have to agree to disagree on this! Harrah's is one of the few places in recent years where I've actually given up on a drink and moved on.

The one I think of as the quickest recently (although technically off Strip) is Rio when they have the order-takers with the tablets. Close second would be Linq when they have the order takers with the tablets, but last few trips they did not have them.

As for slowest, last December the service at Caesars seemed like a 12-step program in disguise! :(

Where do you play at Harrah's?
Table game service isn't bad, but slot area is terrible. I think I'm playing out in the desert, dying of thirst waiting for a cocktail!
One exception is the VP area, when Marisol is working. She is excellent.
As to good service, I second the Cromwell choice. Fast service and drinks served in real glassware.

For me I've had the best consistent service at Bellagio and SLS of all places.

It shouldn't take long to get a drink at SLS when you are one of 10 people in the casino.

I miss the service at Mermaids. I could have 3 waitresses hustling at the same time. Just drop $15 in tips and get 15 watered down whiskey and cokes in about 15 minutes. Then down Fremont you stumble. Make a bathroom crawl in every casino too.

I've always had really good service at Paris and the Wynn. I had TERRIBLE service at the Venetian once and haven't been back to gamble since. I felt bad for the dealer because it was a fun, social table and we were tipping well. She called for a CW at least two or three times over the course of about 25-30 minutes; never once did she come by. Eventually we all colored and left.

A lot of it is luck if the draw on the main floor IMO. One day you may have 2 drinks in front of you at all times, and the next it could be a barren wasteland.

I play mostly tables. Generally, drinks service is ok at table games. It does seem to be hit or miss by shift and game. I hesitate to say a best here - usually you'd see someone at least every 45 minutes at a table game.

If I had to give a couple of best ofs, a few places come to mind that generally align with others:

THE CROMWELL. The place is tiny and no one gambles here. The service I had while playing full pay quarter VP was staggeringly fast. I think I saw the waitress every ten minutes - no exaggeration, and she asked me if I was ready for another every time. If I wanted to get canned, this would be where I would go first. Again, I think it's barren enough that you could basically not be playing and she would still serve you.
Margaritaville slots generally has been a good one for when my wife plays slots. Caveat that it has usually been daytime, not night time.
The Linq is a great place between the ipad servers and TAG
Golden Gate is tiny and they are around a lot
I've historically had no problem getting decent drink service at tables all over - Excal, NYNY, MC, Aria, Bellagio, PH, Flamingo, Ballys/Paris, Venetian/Palazzo, Mirage, etc. were all fine.

I have had a bad day or two of service at Harrahs. I've also had other times where the service was lightning quick.

Another piece of advice - look for where the waitresses are serving and sit in that area.

Lastly, I've generally had great service in most high limit rooms. Instead of playing $1.50 per spin in a penny slot, go play $2 per spin in a dollar slot.

I bet that's who I had the one time I built a quick buzz at harrahs. She asked me I I wanted a drink before I even sat down and began to play! And had a few more within 30 minutes.
