Got my Pop Slots! tee today!
Got my myKonami shirt today as well. Waiting on my myVegas shirt.
Got a MyVegas hat... Being an international delivery it will probably take a bit more time to get here, but soon as it's in, I'll post a photo with it
Brand new "Fall Frenzy @ Home" rewards are now up. I was able to snag a Uber Eats gift card. Amazon, Uber Eats, DoorDash cards sold out quickly. Fandango and Vudu cards are still available as I write this post.
It looks like you can redeem one every 7 days and they will refresh these 4x daily, so keep an eye out.
What's the value of the gift cards? $25?
Its a $20 UberEats credit for 74,000 loyalty points. I have 15 million LP, so I was more than fine with it. The Amazon one is $30 for 139,000 LP. I would have picked that, but it sold out the fastest.
FandangoNOW 55,000 LP / "Up to $10 value" ($0.18 per 1,000 LP value)
VUDU 55,000 LP / $10 promo code ($0.18 per 1,000 LP value)
DoorDash 71,000 LP / $20 gift card ($0.28 per 1,000 LP value)
UberEats 74,000 LP / $20 gift card ($0.27 per 1,000 LP value)
Amazon 139,000 LP / $30 gift card ($0.215 per 1,000 LP value)
Personally, if I had to say any one of these had a "best" value, it would be UberEats. To the best of my knowledge, UberEats / Uber credits are interchangeable (i.e., you can use an Uber gift card to pay for Uber Eats, which I have personally done in Canada, don't know about US). So it can be treated as an Uber gift card, effectively... making it far more usable for the average person.
Considering the Konami freeplay rewards are $25 in freeplay for 75,000 LP, this wouldn't be considered a bad value IMO if Konami freeplay would have been your go-to reward in Vegas.
As the likelihood of my being able to truly max out the value of my LPs gets to be lower and lower, I'd possibly be interested in going after Uber or maaaaaaybe Amazon.
Naturally, after the whole recent MLife gift cards fiasco, I'm hesitant to be acquiring gift cards through this channel. It also doesn't say if there's an expiration date of the card (only that the reward must be USED by March 31, 2021)... and it also doesn't say in which state it's issued. For what it's worth, it appears expiration of gift cards IS legal in Nevada if the date is conspicuously provided... whereas here in Canada gift cards generally cannot expire.
So I probably won't bother, personally. But if I've got a trip of any kind to the US anytime before March 31, 2021 while this promo is still on, that may change.
Note that the "gift card fiasco" was limited to mLife gift cards. There was an "exploit" specific to the mLife gift cards, and I wouldn't expect any other gift cards to be exploited.
Thanks for the breakdown. agree that UberEats and Amazon would be my top picks. Side note, I have a Fandango gift card with a $1.50 balance from years ago when MyVegas had them as a partner, that has yet to expire.
I managed to get $30 amazon cards on both my account and my husband's. They came in handy since I was just about to make a purchase there. FYI, you get a redemption code as soon as you claim the reward (they will also e-mail it to you) and then you just log into your amazon account to add it as a gift card balance that you can use on future purchases. For my fellow Canadians, I can also confirm that (as expected) this only works on amazon.com, not amazon.ca.
I saw the Vudu and FandangoNow credits were available. Since the Amazon and others sell out in minutes, I decided to go with Vudu. Maybe in 7 days I'll be able to snag an Amazon, but if not I'm perfectly ok with a free $10 credit.
