Just looked at wiki and it turns out that the current "voice of baseball", with the most nationally broadcast games, is Joe Buck... more than anyone else.
Gowdy owned the 60s & 70s... Joe Garagiola & Vin Scully owned the 80s... and it's been all Joe Buck since then.

If you are visiting the Iowa Great Lakes region, you are bound to see bumper stickers, t-shirts and various paraphernalia for the University Of Okoboji and their undefeated football team, the Fighting Phantoms. The only problem is that the University Of Okoboji does not exist.

When the Brooklyn Bridge was under construction, chief engineer John Roebling died of tetanus from a construction-related accident. His son, Washington Roebling, took over as chief engineer. The younger Roebling became disabled from decompression sickness (the bends) from regularly working inside the pressurized watertight chambers used to construct the underground footings. His wife, Emily Roebling, then took over, as she had a background in higher mathematics, and with the paralyzed Washington as her guide, saw the project to completion in 1883.

Some facts about Michigan include that Michigan had the 1st auto traffic tunnel that was built between two nations, this was the Detroit-Windsor tunnel that was actually built under the Detroit River. Michigan also created the first international railway tunnel that connected Port Huron and Sarnia together and was opened in 1891.
