Not a short but website - Go to cafepress.com and search for thunderbirds. I'm not affiliated with the site, just an old Air Force guy.

I am not sure about this today, but before 9/11 we drove out to Nellis, provided ID, and went in to the Thunderbird hangar and gift shop.

They had tons of cool stuff to buy, there was a plane you could walk around, and a pilot to talk to. It was not an organized tour or anything, just drove in and follwed the directions to the hangar.

The pilot who was there told us about their training schedule and we drove out to Indian Springs and watched them practice the following day.

Probably easier to just get them on line :):):)
