Dole Whip machine has apparently been broken out here for a few weeks. Had to switch things up from our usual poolside order.

Meal looks fantastic but the crowded nature of the table is really surprising and disappointing.

I've made more than a dozen reservations for my upcoming trip and Milos was one of the few restaurants where I had yet to reserve. I'm thinking that one will unfortunately come off my list.

It was really odd because they had a table out front with sanitizer and framed steps they were taking to make it a safe dining experience for their guests, and then they literally sat all 6 tables on top of one another when they had an entirely open dining room.

There is a partially open terrace there, but it was too hot and I’m not sure how much airflow it really was getting given it’s just a couple half walls on the corner of the building. I wasn’t willing to sweat it out since I wasn’t convinced it was going to be much safer as I didn’t know at that point that they were going to end up seating everyone around us inside. I assumed they were going to space things out like Momofuku and BRG.

Wife wanted another drink, The Feeling Salty. Picking up a bit and now an employee walking around enforcing masks in lounge chairs.

Thanks again for your report @HHFan and for the additional info about Milos. I may make a reservation but if it doesn't look right when I get there I'll just dine elsewhere.

I saw a $15 at one point, but can’t remember what day or time that was. I’ll take a look again when I go down in a bit.

Counted the bankroll again and it would appear we’re down $700-800 for the trip right now. That is great given how much coin-in we’ve done, but a little sad with the $1500 FP I’ve won and the big hits we’ve had. We’ll see how this next session goes before we decide if more money comes out of the safe or if we call it a trip and preserve the rest of that bankroll.

Patrón Silver Tequila, tamarind, ginger, citrus Squirt soda

It was definitely my favorite of the three at the pool. My wife was torn between that and The Feeling Salty, but that was a little too grapefruit heavy for my tastes. The Thirst Trap was refreshing, but the cucumber based drinks at Milos and Lago were much better so it suffered in comparison.

Thanks for the detailed trip report -- not only the slot, food and room photos, but also what's going on with the crowds and safety and virus precautions. It sounds as if working around the weekends is the way to go for now, if you can manage it.

Down another $800 in a flash. Have $500 left in the wallet before we have to go into the safe to keep playing. If it goes a quickly as the first $800 we might be calling it rather than going on tilt.

Big crowds in the sports book and Clique for football. Tables all $25 and up. Out of non-safe money.

Only machine that even let us play today was 3 reel Wonka. I don’t know why Cosmo even has this on the floor anymore because it’s been in such bad shape for years. We got 6 golden ticket bonuses before it finished off the $200 we put in. 3 Augustus, 2 Violet, and 1 Veruca so none of the premium ones. The below was the only hit over $30.

So weird to see Planet Hollywood shuttered.

Grabbed a slice of Milk Bar Bday cake on the way back up to the room. We tried it a few years ago and hated it, so decided it was time to give it a second chance. Better than we remember, but still at a loss as to why it’s so famous and not worth $15.

Unsure what the rest of the day holds. Not many entertainment options outside gambling, but today’s results have been real rough since I converted the FP this morning. We’ll definitely play more, just a matter of how much to put at risk and what bet level.

Yes, Wonka is horrible. The Goonies slot is horrendous too. So sad, I like playing those there.

Thanks a lot for this trip report. I'm staying at Cosmo over Halloween and doing Vegas with my brother who I haven't seen in over a year. Very Excited.

Also, every single $1 VP progressive machine was taken this afternoon as folks had moved chairs to play each one. I’m assuming there must now be a positive EV game on there with the $6500 RF.

On a brighter note, here are some more random terrace shots.

I love those 3-reel Wonkas at Cosmo; hope they are still there when I get back.

It’s in bad shape! I love this machine too, especially when the bonus rounds start hitting one spin after another. But it was hard to stay on it.

This evening has been a rollercoaster. Started slow with some VP, then decided to go for it. Had a bonus on .20 Huff n Puff and started thinking handpay, but no dice. Ran it up to +800, now going the other way a bit.
