I got a REALLY good deal on a flight and hotel to Vegas. I am there Thursday, May 25th - Monday, May 29th (May 29th is Memorial Day). I hear it's a really good time to be in LV! Does anyone have any suggestions? Experiences they want to share from past Vegas Memorial Day experiences?

Typically busy holiday weekend in Vegas and is recognized as the universal start of pool season in Vegas (although some hotel pools are open ahead of this weekend).
You can expect hotel rates and table mins to jump up that weekend and Vegas to get crowded. The weather is pretty nice, not yet into the 100's, highes in 80's and low 90's. This is a big weekend for CA visitors and they will be hitting the pools and day-clubs which will be packed.

If you plan on using the hotel pool, you will either want to make a cabana reservation waaay early like March or get to the pool first thing (8am) and stake out your spot early. Free lounge chairs are in high demand. Lots of young and attractive people in town, so if you like to people watch or looking to make a new friend, plenty of opportunities.

There are usually some great headliners in Vegas this weekend. Expect most of the usual resident musician shows will be performing. Additionally there is a major concert typically.
Plan to purchase your tickets by March if you want good seats for any of the headliner shows this weekend.

I like the vibe in Vegas over this weekend, it's before IHeart and EDC. You have a major sporting event to bet with the Indy 500. Weather is nice but not to hot, and
the energy is a little higher without being as crazy as EDM weekends.

Having roasted in Vegas during July and August, MDW is the last weekend I would go to Vegas, until labor day.
