Excalibur Royal or Resort Tower?

Next week I’ll be in Vegas for 4 nights at Excalibur and have a comped room at either Royal and Resort Tower including comped resort fees.

Is there a big difference between each tower? Also, I’ll be self parking at Excalibur. Is it a long walk from the self parking garage to the tower? Any information would help. Thanks!
 
Not a big difference between the two towers, although the Royal Tower is newer in terms of renovations. It is a long walk from the garage to the towers.
 
Resort tower is closer to the main parking garage, pool, and spa. Royal tower is closer to check in area and its remodel was done more recently.
