    I think the general answer is “no”. There was a thread on this some time back, I think. If they need to be cleaned they have to be wiped or cleaned by hand, most likely with observers and controls in place.

    The worst chips are in the poker room, where they get handled repeatedly. The buildup of grime on some $1 chips at the low limit poker rooms is incredible with years of grime and germs!

    A few years ago a great poker dealer at Washington's Little Creek Casino gave me a link to what could be found on dirty poker chips. One of the major items: fecal matter. Seriously. From that time on, it's hand sanitizer for me. I absolutely live it when I find new or clean chips,

    I carry wipes in my purse because a lot of times I cant get close enough to use the sink with out soaking myself. So if you see me leave the RR without "washing" my hands I've already cleaned them in the stall.

    You're right about getting wet at the sink. I don't know how many times my shirt gets wet because of water all over the sink area.
