Not talking her about someplace that comped you based on your time at tables/machines

I get two nights FREE at Bellagio courtesy of WagerWorks (precursor to MyVegas). Got same for Mirage but probably would have stayed there at some point anyways.
Got BOGO's for Plaza (over a weekend no less) from ACG and from LVA for Sunset Station, MSS and (so help me) Silver Sevens when it opened as Terrible's. Stayed at Hooters for $29/night with Groupon. Yes if the price is right I'll stay anwhere!

Yes, the Rio. Would not do that again. The place was okay, but we wanted to be on the Strip, so we just took the shuttle back and forth every day.

I can afford to stay where I actually want to be now, and it's worth the money to avoid hassle now.

Sure. MyVegas rooms at Luxor, Aria, Mirage. Way back stayed at Orleans for a deal. Stayed at Downtown Grand last year specifically because the Canadian at Par deal meant they were paying me to stay there (big surprise that CEO got fired, huh?)

Oh, and there was the trip I had to fly in a night early to avoid a snowstorm, so checked into IP because it was a deal, and next to my hotel for the booked stay.

All the time. That explains all my Excalibur stays. One time got a one night deal at Vdara for $89 so that got added on to the trip, too.

  • Out and about
Many times although not recently. Now what I do is compare mLife and cosmo offers and choose the best one. MLife keeps making me bigger FP and resort credit offers to go to Luxor or Excalibur but after staying at Luxor once I won't do that again. NYNY, MC, Mirage, or Cosmo for me now.

  • Annual May trip with my wife
about 15 years ago, Vacation Village had the "Spin the Wheel after showing your airline ticket" promo. We stopped in there directly after leaving the rental car location (not the current consolidated rental center) for every trip and usually won a roll of quarters, but we won a room night one time. I used it for one night on a later trip because it was a busy Saturday and I couldn't find many other options. I knew I was in for a 5 star stay when I had to put a cash deposit down at the front desk to get a TV remote o_O

Yes, that's how it started at "the D" when I returned to Las Vegas in 2013. Since I was traveling solo or with my BFF, I took them up on a teaser offer and stayed with them from 2013 through NYE 2014. I then "graduated" to CET and V/P and stayed on the strip.

Yes. Back in 1997, we got a deal at the Rio for $25 a night. We were ecstatic and loved the property. So much so, it became our home base until it was Harrah-ized and we haven't stayed since.

Stayed at the Aria twice and wanted to stay elsewhere on our December trip but they gave us a great deal so we ended there again.

Will be at The Mirage on our trip no matter what. We always end up hanging around there on every trip so we have decided deal or no deal that will be our next.

Yes. If you're going to give me a deal that I can't refuse, I'm in.

Um, yes pretty much every trip. Won't stay somewhere gross because of a deal, but i always get some sort of deal wherever I choose to stay.

  • Summer reboot!
Yes, just trying something new from time to time---have returned to some and never returned to others---

This trip I had 3 nights comped at Palazzo based on play but decided to use Marriott points and stay in a 2 bedroom suite at Cosmo instead. The thing usually goes for 600-1500 dollars a night so I call that a deal...count me in!

Oh yes mostly at MGM property's I get them all comped and I currently play local MGM which I can earn EC based on my table play which I usually max out $5,000!!! Then I use them in Vegas at MGM property's so YES I get great deals in Vegas usually free trip ........other than gambling part lol

Every trip except my upcoming trip. Staying at Cosmo for the first time. Don't have any history with them, but a host came on this board and offered to match offers from other places. Now I'm a low roller at CET so I didn't expect him to match my Ballys offer, and he couldn't. But I got a better deal than booking on my own. I'm spending about twice as much on the room but I'm willing to splurge (for me) on this trip. Who knows maybe I'll get some nice comps from Cosmo. I just love the thought of a room in Vegas with a balcony.

Yes, a few times. I got two nights comped at the Wynn, shortly after they opened, for some very modest play after signing up for their card. I know I would probably never stay there otherwise.

I was happy to get a free Wynn buffet with my meager play there lol. The Bellagio gift was above and beyond. Knew I'd never have the coin to actually pay for those rooms

If I were closer to Vegas, I probably would; however ten hours in the air isn't conducive to such a thing. I have been very tempted by A/C a few times, however...... but, to answer your question; "no."
